A Dutch silver figural sugar sifter spoon from the 1920s. This 5-1/2" nicely detailed table serving spoon features a woman carrying two pails as the finial and the bowl is nicely pierced. It has an obscured maker's mark and a difficult to see sword mark on the join of the handle and bowl and it could date anywhere from the 1900s to the 1950s. It weighs 26.3 grams and it is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, damage or repairs...

European silver ornament, ca 1920. Single plain hollow stem sprouting 3 flowers with ripe, splayed petals and prominent stamen surrounding 3 tight and tall buds. Pretty and hopeful. Appears to be unmarked. Silver tests 800. Excellent condition.

A Fa Dahlia Dutch 835 solid silver pastry pie lifter or cake server dated 1920. This ornate European silver 8-1/2" dessert server features a high relief village scene, flowers and a mythological mask on the pierced work blade and the stem is fancy as well. This fine dining or tea table serving piece is topped with a finely detailed sailing ship. Dancing Nymph is the correct name for this Consolidated pattern - it's sometimes called "Dance of the Nudes" due to listings in depression glass books under that name. Made in 1928, it's a wonderful pattern for the deco collector as well as glass lovers. This is the sherbet in French Crystal.(French Crystal is high polish figures against a satin finish background - named because of the Lalique quality this finish gives the glass.) This is an 800 SILVER SERVING SPOON with Heavily Chased work on the front. DESIGNED with CROWNS and LIONS the length is 7 3/4"; the Bowl measures 1 3/4" X 2 3/4". The back is plain. Ca. 1925- 1950 the Condition is EXCELLENT

These beautiful candlesticks were produced by the Consolidated Glass Company as part of the Martele line. Designed by Reuben Haley, the set was produced in the late 1920's. The pattern is called Orchid and is listed in the Consolidated catalog as the #2646 Low candlestick set. The color is green ceramic finish applied over crystal. Excellent condition. Italian silver gilt grand-tour bell, ca 1920. Figural handle in form of piping faun with puffed out cheeks and hoofed and hirsute hindquarters. Based on Greek statuette excavated in Pompeii and today in the National Archaeological Museum in Naples. Marked. Very good condition with nice toning.

Consolidated Glass Company produced the Catalonian line in 1927. It was made to look like glass found in Catalonia Spain at the archaeological sites, and had bubbles and raised rings blown into the glass. This is the #1122 2 1/2 oz footed cordial or whiskey tumbler in emerald green. Tumblers are very difficult to find in this pattern, so get them while you can. Semi-eggshell thin cup and saucer by Imura, Japan, c 1920. Decoration in black, gilt and orange-red of fans in the Kutani style. Signed Nihon (Japan) Yokohama Imura Tsukuru. Height of cup "2¼/ 6 cm, and diameter of saucer "4¾/ 12 cm. Condition: a glaze bubble under the enameled decoration. Saucer with a small nick to the rim (cf. photo).

This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in England by Royal Worcester in 1927. The marking indicates this year. The saucer has a diameter of 3 7/8 inches and the cup is 2 inches high. The porcelain is fine, white bone china. The ground color is bright yellow. There are white borders decorated with a factory transfer of stylized flowers and leaves. Hammered silver sugar tongs from Martin Mayer in Mainz, Germany, c 1920-30. Martin Mayer’s firm, founded 1888, was a well-known manufacturer of silver cutlery and jewelry until it was confiscated by the Nazis in 1938. Peter Behrens, Hans Christiansen and Patriz Huber are known to have worked for Martin Mayer. Of these, Behrens - one of the founders of the Deutscher Werkbund – is the most likely to have designed these sugar nips. German silver standard mark (crown and 835) and makers mark MM...

A very nice unsigned Steuben Oriental Jade vase, shape 2648 as shown in the factory line drawings. The vase is 6 inches tall and is in perfect condition. The pontil mark is fully polished.

Art Nouveau inkwell. Made by Emile Langlois in Paris, ca 1920. Hemispheric clear glass bowl with garland acid-etched to sides and diaper cut to underside. Neck collar 950 silver as is hinged domed cover, which has guilloche enamel concentric rings in nuanced green-brown. Detachable clear glass liner. Maker’s stamp. Excellent condition.

European silver and enamel cigarette case, ca 1920. Rectangular, chamfered, and hinged. On cover a horse’s head appears in an entryway, with two protective borzoi dogs standing guard. Stable drama against a semi-abstract background of brick and stone, and purpling ground. Marks worn. Very good condition with strong color.

A sterling silver holder for a menu, the design somewhere between Art Déco and modernism. Superbly engraved monogram. Today, menu holders might be used also for a photo or a birthday card. From Touron, one of the most well-established Parisian silver manufacturer (from 1824). Stamped Kendall-Touron, French assay mark: boar’s head and maker’s mark L&R. Height "1/ 2,5 cm.
