A very uncommon graduated sterling silver handled jigger by one of Mexico’s most important Art Deco and modernist silversmiths, Juvento Lopez Reyes. He opened his studio, Plateria del Recreo in 1935, making most streamlined hollowware items in the Art Deco and modernist taste. The base is fully stamped with mark used by Reyes in the 1930s and 40s. The stepped sides of the jigger mark off .5, 1, 1.5 and 2-oz levels.

Designed by George Thompson and first manufactured in 1939, Art Deco style having round clear crystal bowl with handles, signed in script on the underside; good to excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs, minor wear. This cool Menorah was made by zanazan, designed by the well known artist, Shahen Pooladian. It is a 9 - piece set. It features a modernist mid-century design. The candle holders measure 2 1/2". The Shamash measures 3 1/2". The bottom of each piece is marked zanazan MADE IN USA. I believe this set is pewter.

A Black Forest carved wood sculptural study of a wild boar with a 'don't mess with me' aura. The boldly carved and detailed boar, stained, on carved wood plinth, unstained, portraying coarse terrain. Signed bottom of the plinth, "Evert E Klund". In different hand, "'Gunthers (with an umlaut over the 'u'), Germany' Nov. 1946". Ink stamped mark (three times) of an anchor flanked by two stylized 'E's...

An unusual 1940s French cocktail pick holder depicting a "racoleuse"--a streetwalker--leaning against a lamp post and raising her skirt very high. The chrome is engraved in a way to show that her thin dress does nothing to hide her more perky attributes. A selection of bakelite and chrome cocktail picks a stored in the trash can on the other side of the lamp post. Cocktail picks, often with very elaborate holders, were vastly popular in France and come in infinite variety...

An unusually large "Ivory" coloured moulded Bakelite (Urea Formaldehyde) wall plaque designed by William McMillan RA. These plaques were manufactured by De la Rue Plastics and were presented by the War Office to local Savings Committees in appreciation of their success in "Salute the Soldier Week" in 1944.
