Although this pattern was officially named 'Sylvan' by Federal Glass Company, it has always been referred to by the collector's name, Parrot. It was produced for only one year, 1931-2, and is scarce today. Offered here is the 10 inch oval serving bowl in amber. There is some very light utensil markings in the bottom of the bowl, otherwise it's in excellent condition. See my other listings for more in this pattern.

This is a really pretty pair of ruby red Coin 8 Inch high single Candle Sticks made by Fostoria Glass. Both candle sticks are in very good condition with no chips, cracks, scratches or cloudiness, however the one candle stick has a black 1/8 inch smudge in the glass at the top of the candle holder. Being offered is a heavy circa 1950 sterling silver tray by Sanborns, of Mexico City, Mexico, entirely handwrought rectangular shaped tray fromed from a sheet of heavy gauge silver; resting on four domed feet, perfect for a dresser, for appetizers, olives, a luxurious soap dish etc. Dimensions: 7 inches long by 5 inches wide by 1/4 of an inch tall. A vintage pair of Chinese porcelain vases purchased in New York during the early 70's. The sexagonal vases feature a bird and flower motif. The gilded rims show faint wear. Marked with a red stamp seal and Made in Hong Kong label. 12-1/4" (h), just shy of 5-1/2" (w).
These stylized water birds are attributed to Archimede due to the pulveri design. The birds are in good condition, 6.5" tall, one retaining the J.I. import label
