A sterling silver vermouth dispenser in the form of a watering can. These were made by Boardman and retailed primarily at Cartier's flagship store in New York and by Tiffany. This particular example was retailed by Schroth's jewelers in Montville, NJ. When tipped, the dispenser lightly sprinkles just a drip of vermouth into the glass for the perfect martini. The bottom is marked “Sterling” and is signed “Schroth”.

A complete Dunbar beverage set is hard to find. Usually the tumblers are broken and only the tray caddy survives. This style of beverage service called Bridge Set and its purpose was to be used at the card table. Although it is often referred to as depression glass, it was really manufactured in the 1920’s. This lovely amber centerpiece bowl is marked with a C in a triangle for the Cambridge Glass Company. The broad flared rim rises from a collar foot showing the fine, rich amber color throughout. These Wood & Hughes sterling fiddle back tablespoon were made circa 1871. They are 7 1/8" long. They look and feel like coin silver but they are marked sterling. The Mono is "MEG".

Made to look like glass found in Spain at the archaeological sites, Catalonian is characterized by interior bubbles and raised rings on the surface of the glass.
