The classic sterling and rosewood three-piece carving set by Hector Aguilar, Mexico, c.1944. The set usually consists of only two pieces. Set consists of a two-pronged meat fork(14" long) and two carving knives(17" and 15 1/2" long each). Bowl or dish in Sommerso technique, clear glass and grass green, designed by Vicke Lindstrand for Kosta glass works, Sweden. VL was appointed chief designer at Kosta in 1950, and the bowl was produced in the mid 50’s. Incised mark Kosta LH 1308/75 (model number), where L is for Lindstrand and H means artisanal, made by hand. Height "2 / 5 and width "3 ¾ / 9.5 cm. Condition: fine.
