Exquisite Barovier bowl and pestle set profusely filled with an aventurine gold spiral pattern on the interior with an exterior thread of blue/green lattimo. The rim of the bowl has a scissor cut which lends a dramatic modern aesthetic to the form. It is unusual to find these sets together. This one is a beauty! It is 7"x2"h, in excellent condition, unmarked, but clearly Barovier.

This is a very detailed sculpture of a deity standing on top of an elephant who stands on a ball. This is a very unique sculpture in excellent condition. Notice the impressive details all over this piece, including the feet, the design on the deity's dress and the details of the pearls. This lovely amber centerpiece bowl is marked with a C in a triangle for the Cambridge Glass Company. The broad flared rim rises from a collar foot showing the fine, rich amber color throughout. It spans 12 3/4" across the broad rim and is 3 1/2" deep. This elegant piece is in excellent condition. I have other Cambridge and elegant glassware in my inventory... take a peek. Vase by Danish manufacturer Hjorth, c 1920-30. Grey stoneware, decoration of Art Déco scroll work in “flow” copper red under beautifully crackled glaze. Probably by Hans Hjorth. The Hjorth Terracotta Factory, now part of the Bornholm museum, is still working in the same premises where it was founded in the 19th century, still using the same equipment. Cross-striped like the Victorian bathing-suits – just a coincidence or might there be a thought behind this design? Carlsbad was a fashionable 19th century spa, famous for its hot springs. Impressed mark for 1848 – 1868. Height of teapot "4 ½ / 11 cm including handle, diameter of saucer "5 ½ / 14 cm. Condition: a nick to the cup (cf. pics).
