This unique figurine of a peasant boy carrying a sack, clearly demonstrates the artistic virtuosity of the Murano glass artists. It is highly unusual for a figurine to have hollow legs to support such tall statue. (We have only seen a similar figurine in Venice.) This Murano sculpture is superbly crafted and highly unusual in its clarity using only a subtle iridescence to accent the beauty of the Glass. Documented in Leslie Pinas book "20th Century Italian Glass", pg. 174, this asymmetrical plate is constructed from gathers of crystal and opalino glass, augmented with green chips and copper aventurine which are manipulated with a tool to achieve the "starry nights" design. The loose, organic form is notable. Measuring 11.5"w x 9.5"d x 2"h, this fine piece of Murano glass is in good condition, with expected wear on the base consistent with its vintage.

Smart-looking "No. 250 Coldseal" aluminum cocktail shaker by Kraftware, ca. 1946. The shape is very interesting, tapering from a narrow footed base to broader shoulders and a bell-shaped top. Raised rings add to the look. Bottom is marked "Kraftware." 12.5" tall. Nice condition. This shaker looks terrific when highly polished!! A wonderful addition to your collection, and relatively hard to find!.

The 1920's and 30's was the age of the cocktail party, and the jewelry was characterized by vivid colors and sparkling diamonds. Cuban influences helped guide art deco design toward strong rectilinear geometry. This diamond ring is classic art deco. It is almost a full inch long and .5 inches deep at its widest. The platinum band has engraving.

This porcelain cat was produced in Germany by Hutschenreuther in the 1950s. It is 5 inches high and 6 1/4 inches long. It is nicely modeled and hand painted. The cat almost looks like he is smiling. It is a cat with character and a great find for a cat collector. Condition: Excellent

Pair of early 20th C Tiffin yellow Vaseline glass candle holders with barley twist stems supported by a bell base with an etched floral design. All my photos are shot in natural light against a white or black background. The candleholders are heavy in weight and look much better than I could capture in the photos. Offered is this large signed Seguso Murano glass vase. The vase is 13 3/4 inches (35 cm) tall, 7 3/4 inches (20 cm) wide and 5 inches (12,5 cm) deep. It is without any chips, cracks or repairs.
