This is a really nice crystal clear, vintage, Iris and Herringbone round Butter Dish with Lid made by Jeannette Glass into the 1930s. The bottom measures 5 5/8 inches diameter. The butter dish together measures 4 1/2 inches high to top of knob. Both the butter bottom and lid are in very good condition with no chips or cracks. OLD 1890’s Venetian SALVIATI SEA HORSE Art Glass Compote Base!!! The piece is the bottom half of a compote, but its extremely rare to find one anywhere! The last one I saw sold for over $5,000!!! Murano Cased COBALT Blue and Orange SOMMERSO Art Glass Pedestal Ashtray or "Coupe" with GOLD FLECKS Snail Decoration!!! Attributed to Archimede SEGUSO!!! A similar one is pictures in a Christie's Catalog, and attributed to Flavio Poli for Seguso Vetri D' Arte (circa 1950s). That piece was done for Alfa Romeo (with logo) and in iridescent glass. It was a much larger piece too at 8" tall. But same basic design as my piece here...

A very rare French first standard silver (950/1000 pure silver) tastevin, the bottom bearing the coat of arms of the Confrerie des Chevaliers du Tastevin. The arms depict St. Vincent, patron saint of winemakers. The body is further decorated with the traditional raised "perles" for highlighting the reflections in the wine and recessed "cupules" and elongated "godrons" intended to concentrate the color during tasting. The handle is worked in the snake motif traditional in Burgundian tastevins...

This beautiful pillow vase was produced by the Consolidated Glass Company as part of the Martele line. Designed by Reuben Haley, the vase was produced in the late 1920's. The pattern is called 'Olives', though some feel they look more like plums... The vase is listed in the Consolidated catalog as the #2695 Olive vase, and measures 8 inches by 3 1/2 inches by 4 inches high...

Fenton Thumbprint Colonial Green Basket, 8" was produced in the 1960's. No logo on this one, it was made too early for that. Fenton started putting its logo on items in late 1969. Then gradually imprinted its logo on everything in 1972. (just in case you wanted to know). It is in mint condition.
