Handwrought servers with allover spot hammering; an applied flattened ball at the end terminal of the handles; hammered bowl and tines. Dimensions: fork - 9 1/4 inches long by 2 1/4 inches wide; spoon - 9 inches long by 2 1/4 inches wide. No monogram. Marked as illustrated in photo. In excellent condition. Typical of Spratling, great design, construction and weight.
Being offered are a pair of circa 1967 sterling silver salt and pepper shakers by renowned silversmith Antonio Pineda of Taxco, Mexico. Shakers in a triangular design with pierced Star of David spouts and Star of David also applied in a stylistic motif on one shaker, Dimensions: salt and pepper 3 inches high x 1 3/8 inches wide trisngulsrly. A lovely Steuben center bowl with reeded diamond optic decoration, low profile, but large diameter. I have not quite placed the color as it does not quite match green or Pomona Green, but I will go with the former pending further research.
Condition is excellent, but may contain a minute production flaw or two. Unmarked but unmistakably Steuben. Shape number is 6774.
