A pair of globular small electric bedside lamps decorated with roses hand painted by Joseph Nekola Junior and sold by Plitchta, London. Joseph, the son of Karel Nekola an original decorator at Weymss, was taught by his father to paint the well know roses. Bead Chain fixtures were the standard ceiling fixture of the American home from the 1920’s through the 1940’s. The decorative glass shade hung from 3 bead chains, and could be adjusted up or down depending on the size of the room and height of the ceiling. Moondrops was produced by New Martinsville Company from 1932 to 1940. Offered here is the 4 3/4 inch footed tumbler in perfect condition.
