- Condition: good, small area of paint loss on the hat rim, moderate plating wear particularly on the handles, paint touch-up on the face, a 1/8” pinpoint ding on the back side of the jigger.

Wonderful folk art box of a pyramid that opens to reveal sections to hold cigarettes and matches.
The entire surface is inlaid with square or rectangular pieces of wood in varying shades of brown and beige.
It measures 5 1/2" high and is 9 3/8" square, sitting on 4 geometric feet.
Surface appears to have a light varnish coating.
The form is a copy of the pyramid at Chichen Itza in the Yucatan Peninsula...

However, we believe that it was created in a studio by excellent ceramicists who decorated the vase with free flowing green and blue glazes. One side has a stack of incised chevrons running down the center. The underside is marked with what appears to be W NZ VI, marks whose identity elude us...
A lovely Steuben center bowl with reeded diamond optic decoration, low profile, but large diameter. I have not quite placed the color as it does not quite match green or Pomona Green, but I will go with the former pending further research.
Condition is excellent, but may contain a minute production flaw or two. Unmarked but unmistakably Steuben. Shape number is 6774.
Dimensions: 11 3/4" d, 3 1/8" h
