American Rockingham, the ware for which Bennington, Vermont became famous in the mid 19th century, is English in origin and name for the Marquis of Rockingham, whose works at Swinton produced a ware similar brownish color. The pottery itself is cream colored or yellow ware that is dipped in or spattered with a brown glaze before firing.

Hobbs, Brockunier & Co., Wheeling, West Virginia produced glass from 1845-1891. This canoe is before 1886 before Hobbs, Brockunier and Co. ceased to exist on December 31 of 1886 and before Hobbs Glass Co. was organized in August of 1886.

There are no chips, no cracks and no repairs to this item. This item is in excellent condition.

The canary canoe is 8 1/4" long and 3" wide at the center.

Arts & crafts period copper dish by Gorham, c.1852-1865. It is signed: "GORHAM CO. Y126 (anchor in lozenge) and additional mark" and measures 9 1/2" by7 1/4" 1" high. It has a bronze color patina with some dark spots. There is a slight bend that can easily be straightened out on an edge. This charming stylized snail by Livio Seguso, exemplifies the finesse of the Venetian Glass maestros' skills in interpreting their natural environment with hot glass. In the detail images the snail is shown with a shell form by Seguso from an earlier time: Seguso Vetri d'Arte, mid 1930's. The Steuben owl was designed in 1955 by Donald Pollard. It is still being made today. It is 5" tall, and is in perfect condition. It is Steuben number 8065W.

A sterling silver wine funnel in a classic Georgian design by the luxury English silversmith Asprey & Co. The upper rim is simply decorated in a beaded pattern. The strainer bottom is pierced in a starburst design. The piercing will strain out the larger sediments, and the funnel opens so a piece of muslin or a screen can be inserted to filter even the smallest sediments during decanting. The funnel is fully hallmarked by Asprey and bears the date letter for 1984.

This is a sterling plate made by Tiffany which was autographed by the players in the Keaton Golf Klassic in 1974. It is signed in the silver by Art Bell, Hale Irwin, Don Fisterwald, Gene Littler, Lionel Hebert, Dale Douglas, Jim Langley, Charles Coody, and Bob (I couldn't read his last name). It is marked on the back Tiffany & Co., Makers, Sterling Silver, 23336. There are scratches to the silver, but the autographs are all readable. The plate has a diameter of 6".

An elegant sterling silver rollover jigger in Tiffany & Co.’s highly desirable 1961 “Bamboo” pattern. The jigger is designed so the stems on either side of the bowl rest on the rim of cocktail shaker or glass. Once filled, the jigger can simply be tipped sideways, allowing the liquid to drop into the vessel without spills. The handle is marked “Tiffany & Co. Sterling”.
