Really Unusual Murano ORANGE Sommerso and GOLD FLECKS Art Glass WOMAN Candlestick Sculpture!!! Her face is incredibly detailed. She is carrying a large Vase on her head, and has a Gold Leaf Scarf and Belt, with her breasts Exposed! The piece has an Orange Core, and triangle Skirt that lets her stand up. This lovely Moonlight Blue Caprice (#300) handled pinched, square bowl is by Cambridge Glass. The light plays with the pale blue swirls of crescents and plumes. The handles are bull's eyes with cresting plumes and it sits on a subtly beaded collar foot. This wonderful fire-polished dish is 5 1/4" from handle to handle, and 2" deep in excellent, unused condition. Production dates: 1937-1953. This elegantly styled murrine pitcher by Fratelli Toso illustrates the technical expertise that the Muranese artisans possess. Each murrine is individually made and they are assembled and fused to the blowpipe and then blown into this relatively thin and elegant form. Being a glassblower myself, I have great respect for the level of skill demonstrated in vessels constructed with murrine. These were produced in the early 1900's, according to Leslie Pinas' "Fratelli Toso"...

This is one of the prettier of Tiffany's pastel pieces. This compote, measuring 5 1/8" tall x 6 3/4" diameter at top, is made in a bright, vibrant yellow at the edge of the top. This dynamic bear by Knud Kyhn for Royal Copenhagen has an incredible glaze. It measures 3 1/2" (8.25cm) tall and is 5" (13cm) in length. Mint condition. On the underside is painted three wavy lines and the artist's initials KK.

These "Liberty Blue" cup and saucer sets are 2 5/8". They have a blue and white floral rim . The scene in the saucer is that of the Old North Church. The scene on the cup is that of the Paul Revere riding through town. They are in excellent condition.
