This porcelain bowl was produced in Germany by Meissen before 1970. It is 8 3/4 inches by 8 3/4 inches and 2 3/4 inches deep. The porcelain is the finest quality you will find. It is decorated with traditional Chinese motifs. There is a pair of fighting roosters in the center of the bowl. Ornate dragons and Chinese symbols decorate the borders. This lovely black trophy vase is by L. E. Smith from the 1930s. It features a large heart shape cameo with two women dancing with scarves. The rim is ruffled and it stands in a square foot. This ebony vase stands 7 1/8" tall and 4 1/2" across the ruffle rim; it is in excellent, unused condition. Insurance and confirmation are included in the price.

This is an assortment of water and juice flared footed glasses in the etched elegant glass Flanders pattern, issued by Tiffin in the 1910s-30s. Six fine floral porcelain dishes with gilt scalloped edge marked Limoges France along with the initial "R". In excellent condition, they measure 8-1/8" round.

Pretty set of eight bone china coasters by Royal Worcester. Each has a hand painted transfer-printed floral bouquet design. The outer edges are ridged and the rims are gilt. In addition to their original purpose, the coasters could also be used for nut dishes or even butter pats.

A fun Arts and Crafts Period round brass and copper covered box. A prominent cherry blossom decoration adorns the top - outlined by the studded brass cover with etched decoration - explosing a hand hammered copper surface. Etched vine decoration also around the side with copper banding and studs. Not sure if this is Western or Japanese production - the Arts and Crafts Period starting and extending later in Japan...

Beautiful slip graal bowl in maroon and clear glass, circa 1954. Intriguing floral or snowflake design at botton of bowl is the focus from which all the 'arms' of the spiral emanate, really lovely. The piece is engraved "Orrefors S Graal Nr. 1970L Edward Hald" The dimensions of the bowl are: Height 2 1/2" (6.4cm) Width 4 3/4" (12cm) The condition of the bowl is excellent, no chips, cracks or repairs.

Spratling designed this extraordinary pair of sterling wall sconces in the 1950's. Hand forged in sterling silver, each sconce measures 7 1/4" high X 7 1/4" across. Total weight of the pair is 300 grams. The sunburst composition is reminiscent of the sterling silver necklace Spratling designed for cosmetic entrepreneur & philanthropist Helena Rubenstein in the 1940's. The sconces are in beautiful vintage condition. Both are signed WILLIAM SPRATLING TAXCO MEXICO, eagle 30.

Superb in every way; form, glaze, condition. This is a monumental and important vase by Berndt Friberg for Gustavsberg. It measures 15 1/2" (39.5cm). On the underside is incised Friberg, the Gustavsberg hand insignia, and the date code C. This masterpiece was created in 1961.

An elegant sterling silver small letter opener in Kirk’s “Repousse” pattern. The wide end is beautifully decorated with a pattern of roses and foliage against a stippled background. The flat edge is marked off so it can be used as a ruler. The back is marked with the Kirk hallmarked used 1932-61.

Origin: America, ca. 1950. Condition: excellent, very light wear to the first few 1/16” makers on the ruler at the pointed tip. Weight: 26.5 grams.

Duncan and Miller Terrace Cordial. This pattern was produced starting in the 1930's. Two are available and one stands 3-5/8" and the other is 3.5" tall. Neither has been ground, just two very different heights. Both are in excellent condition.

Two small bottle vases in Art Nouveau style and techniques, made around 1970 by Mtarfa, Malta. One in the feather manner and iridescent, the other, the darker one, in iridescent overlay. Both signed Mtarfa. Height "3¼/ 8 and "3/ 7,5cm. Condition: fine.

Very fine 1920's deep yellow guilloche enamel sterling silver 8 day clock. This lovely clock measures 4 3/4" high and is 3 1/2" at its widest point. Small blue, white, and green enamel flowers accent each corner. The clock face is a wheat color with gilded numbers, a gold color rim, and blue hands. A convex glass covers the face of the clock. The clock back has a silver easel and is marked with an anchor, a lion, and an "E"--Birmingham, sterling, 1929...

Melusina or Melusine is a heroine in medieval European folklore. This figurine is a modernist version of her transformation into an often two-tailed mermaid or fish. Unglazed stoneware and gilt hairstyle. Little is known about Y-Keramik other than the workshop was situated in former Western Germany and that the gilding was made of 24 karat gold, this information available on paper labels on other Y-Keramik figures from the 1970's. This is a handsome pair of Indian hand-carved ivory spice holders. Each unscrews into three sections. The removable perforated tops have elephant finials and the largest section is heavily carved with a scene of a lion pursuing a fawn. Measurement: Height: 4 1/2 inches. Condition: very good.
