A vintage mid century modernist set of 2 salt dishes and 2 spoons by William Spratling in sterling silver and rosewood. These were in the Montgomery Ward 1943 Christmas Book and each sold for $4.75 including the spoon. From Spratling's 1st design period.

The salts measures 1 3/8" square and 1" high. Marked with Spratling Made in Mexico around the conjoined 'WS', and Sterling. These were the marks used between 1931-46...

A Danish stoneware jar by Per Linneman Schmidt for Palshus, 1960's. Cylindrical, the interior glazed in a speckled grey and brown, the exterior with a dark brown glaze, leaving some stripes and the horizontal border unglazed. Diameter "5¾/ 14,5 cm, height "3¼/ 8 cm. Incised marks Palshus, Denmark, PLS, 403 and painted D. Condition: fine.

Radiance is a very elegant Depression era pattern that was produced by New Martinsville Glass Company from 1936 to 1939. The pieces are ground and polished on the bottom edges and the color is very rich. Offered here is the 1 oz cordial in cobalt blue. 2 5/8 inches high, I have 2 available. Price is per stem. English Royal Worcester Cromwell Porcelain Demitasse Cup and Saucer, 4 1/2" diameter and 7/8" high-saucer, 2 3/4" wide handle included, 2 1/4" high-cup, ribbed vertical lines and Lemon color rim and border and rose inside the cup, the condition is good.

A Tiffany Sterling Silver BonBon or Candy Basket with a Fixed Handle and Pierced Rim. It is 9" in diameter x 2" high, (or 7" including the handle). The weight is 15 Troy ounces, with a monogram in the center of the basket "KB". It dates from the 1920's (the Tiffany mark is from 1907-1938)and is in excellent condition.

Originally this particular type of glass was developed in 1885 by the Mt. Washington glass Company. Queen Victoria named the glass "Burmese" because the beautiful blend of colors reminded her of sunset in Burma.
