Astounding set of 12 Art Deco sterling silver swizzle sticks with star-shaped ivory finials by Jean Puiforcat, one of France’s most important silversmiths. The Silhouette series glass is illustrated on page 15B of the Libbey-Nash Series 1933 catalog as shown in Fauster "Libbey Glass Since 1818" on page 330. A nearly complete set of the Silhouette series is also shown on page 245 of Fauster. The glass is signed, stands 7 inches tall, has a fire polished rim and is perfect. Six goblets available @ $175.00 each.

Art nouveau bronze desk ends(set of 4), c.1905. This very heavy gauge desk accessory, each measures 4 3/8" by 3 1/4" by 3 1/4", and are each signed #"4120". This porcelain covered box was produced in Hungary by Herend between 1950 and 1970. It is 3 inches long and 3 inches high. The box is molded in the shape of a preening bird. It has a special European style. The bird is hand painted with bright enamels in lovely detail. Condition: Excellent.

Fenton introduced their Coin Dot pattern in 1947 and continued production through 1964. It remains one of their most sought after patterns. Offered here is the #1470 candlestick in blue opalescent. 5 1/2 inches tall. See my other listings for more in this pattern.

This large basket is quite the find. It has an over-sized twist handle of crystal clear glass. The rim is surrounded by gradated colors - almost like a stain of cranberry red. The body is heavy (4 lbs.) and is clear the shines yellow-green under black light. The bottom shows a finished pontil. All-in-all this lovely glass basket stands ( 1/2" tall to the top of the handle and 10" long. It is in excellent condition. I have other interesting and elegant glassware in my inventory .....

A unique piece, made of a tropical wood, 12 1/4" by 6" by 3 1/4", the box hinged, opening from the top, revealing scooped-out recesses when opened. A bird incised with a burning tool and the date 1964 also so incised appear on the front portion that opens out. On the sides, likewise, a design is burned into the wood. This appears to me to be of Caribbean (Haitian?), Mexican/Central American or South American origin, though I suppose it could be African (I think, much less likely)...

This is a really nice French Ivory Laurel 9 inch Dinner Plate made by McKee Glass in the 1930s. This plate is in very good condition with no chips, cracks or scratches. There are the usual mold marks in the bottom of the glass which is common with this type of vintage glass. The surface of the plate is shiny. It is signed McK on the bottom. Modern design vase with incisio carved surface ia a sommerso blend that transitions from cool green to a warm golden wheat color at the base. This is the first incisio I have seen in this shape; I suspect there are not many. This vessel displays nicely with the incisio candle holders item #086. Fine strand of prewar WWII, glass Venetian trade beads from Africa, L: 58cm/23in. These are strung on a contemporary cotton green string with copper wire fastener. A Siam style budha cast bronze head made at Bien Hoa professional School in Vietnam circa 1930. Nice reproduction and beautiful patina. The Bien Hoa school was created in 1906 by French administrators who, seeing Vietnamese art and culture disappear during colonization, wanted to safeguard this important Vietnamese artistic heritage. The school was therefore created, it housed hundreds of Annamese students who became sculptors, painters, ceramists, cabinetmakers etc.....
