This early 925 sterling silver box with detachable lid was designed by Taxco, Mexico artist William Spratling. The box stands 4 1/2" high and measures 3" x 2 1/2". Pictured on spratlingsilver.com where it's described as a tall cigarette box. It is sometimes referred to as a tea caddy. Beautiful vintage condition.

RARE Early VENETIAN 3 Fish Decoration Art Glass SOFFIATI Vase!!! Believe it is a SALVIATI piece, from the early 1900s if not earlier!!! The fish are large ones, measuring about 5" long each. The vase itself is paneled, so even though it is rounded it gives the appearance it has sides to it. Personally i have never seen a similar piece, and neither have some of my Venetian collector friends...

This is a STERLING TIFFANY & CO. PERFUME BOTTLE designed in the Shape of a Miniature FLASK. Size is 1" X 1 3/4" and made with Good Medium to Heavy Gauge STERLING SILVER. There is the Screw in Stopper with Wand atop. Marked on One side: TIFFANY & CO.; 180 degrees around reads: STERLING/ and an Asian Mark. Looks to have been contracted to a Japanese Silver maker circa 1950. CONDITION is EXCELLENT ...zero dings or dents.

Moderntone was produced by Hazel Atlas Glass from 1934 - 42. Offered here is the cream soup bowl in amethyst. (Hazel Atlas called this color 'burgundy' when it was originally made, but it's a rich amethyst color. My picture looks a little too brown. Sorry.) Perfect condition. A trinket box made from Bog Oak - a partially fossilized wood formed as a result of immersion in Irish peat bogs for approximately 5000 years. The wood has been turned and finely carved with Shamrock leaves and a central Trinity Harp and was made in Ireland in the second half of the 19th Century during the reign of Queen Victoria. Condition: excellent - no damages or losses. 7.5cm (3 inches) diameter; 6cm (2.3 inches) high.

Although this pattern was officially named 'Sylvan' by Federal Glass Company, it has always been referred to by the collector's name, Parrot. This large aquatic-themed vase by Alfredo Barbini is superbly executed. The sculpted fish have animated expressions as they float through the freely drawn seaweed. This beauty illustrates Alfredo Barbini's mastery of the material. 12" tall, weighs 11 pounds and is in good condition with normal wear at the base.

A very nice set of 12 French-style linen cocktail napkins with a delightful woven rooster pattern. This is an especially colorful set made from very high quality fabric. In 1965 "THE WORLD OF SPRATLING" museum exhibit touring the U.S. included this design in their collection. Rosewood and sterling silver are used in this ovoid piece which stands 1 3/4" high & 4 3/4" long. The tray is in beautiful condition. It is pictured on Phyllis Goddards spratlingsilver.com and in MEXICAN Silver by Penny Morrill and Carole Berk. Spratling 1950's hallmarks are on the underside.

This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in Germany by Meissen in the 1930s. It has first quality crossed swords under glaze. The saucer has a diameter of 4 1/4 inches and is 1 inch deep. The cup is 2 inches tall with a diameter of 2 1/2 inches. A beautiful bird sits on a flowering branch while in insect flutters by. The style is Japanese Kakiemon, done in shades of blue, green. and violet. The cup is sparsely decorated with a flower sprig here and a bug, in a minimalist manner...

Excellent addition to any glass collection! Designed by Tom Connally, this decanter stands 12 1/4 inches tall with it's mushroom cap stopper. (10 3/4 inches without) and is 2 3/4 inches in diameter. The color is a crisp, clear blue. The decanter has a heavy base so its not easily tipped. These pieces were hand blown so there are variations in the glass and structure. Rare, Made only from 1969 to 1972. Condition is excellent with no chips or cracks.

Moonlight blue Caprice blown goblet, #300, made by Cambridge Glass Co. from 1936-57, 7.75" tall, 9 oz., in mint condition, 3 available.

A Herend Printemps hand painted oblong trinket or cigarette box with floral decoration and gold trim. This 6-3/4 x 3-1/2" box stands 1-1/2" tall and it is probably one of the many Printemps pieces which all have similar and slightly variant floral designs. It has the later Herend mark with a 7987 form number and a BT pattern code with a 1 or I below. It also has an impressed 7981 26 on the bottom...

A difficult wood with which to work, ebony is also an exceedingly attractive one as this hand carved crocodile attests with its exotic and realistic hide. Bone teeth and eyes complete the sculpture. These figures date from the early to mid 20th C, possibly of Indian origin, and are frequently found with lost eyes and teeth, making this one a choice specimen.
