Wonderful birds, stars, and flowers patterned coverlet of wool and cotton hand woven in two sections and signed "MADE BY D.SNYDER HANOVER TOWNSCHIP NOR T.CO 1840" and is signed on the four corners with fringed edges. The coverlet has birds on three side and flowers on one side. The colors are red, blue, and mustard on an off white background. This large, brilliant, cut glass pitcher, measures 11" tall x 5 1/4" diameter on the bottom. I am not an expert on cut glass, but I know a good piece when I see it, and this is one of them. Although I cannot find a signature, I'm sure the pattern will be identifiable to an expert who knows their patterns. There are a couple of very minor flakes at the top, otherwise in perfect condition.

German Silver salt & pepper shakers and place card holders. Circa 1890, these pheasants have several hallmarks, among them "800" and "Germany". Fully three-dimensional and detailed all the way around. Both of the heads can be removed to fill with salt and pepper. There is a slit in both of them to place a card. Both of the bases measure 3" long and 2 1/8" wide. One is 3.5" tall and the other is 3" tall. The overall weight of the pair is 160.1 grams.

Description: Excellent color, long handle, Doric type columns, road imprinted with wheel marks terminating at a gate across the far end, arched leaves overhead, rolled in top with pulled pouring spout.

Blowpipes have been used for hunting in some parts of the world, and in Western Flanders blowpipe with darts or arrows was a popular sport for about a hundred years, starting at the beginning of the 19th century. Arts & crafts period copper dish by Gorham, c.1852-1865. It is signed: "GORHAM CO. Y126 (anchor in lozenge) and additional mark" and measures 9 1/2" by7 1/4" 1" high. It has a bronze color patina with some dark spots. There is a slight bend that can easily be straightened out on an edge. This majolica pitcher has an unusual anchor and chain pattern around the top and pale pink flowers with green leaves on a cream background in the center. It has a brown basket weave bottom. There is some clay shrinkage on the inside. See picture for details. There are no marks.

This charming covered jar in translucent yellow glass is topped with an opaque green fruit with stem. Made in the 1890s by Salviati. The body of the jar and lid are ribbed and have a lovely iridescence. The bottom of the base has multi-point pontil marks. It stands 6" high and 4" wide. A similar fruit-topped lid is shown in Carol Osbourne's "Venetian Glass of the 1890s: Salviati at Stanford University" P. 126, Plate 137. The piece is in excellent condition.

This could be your lucky day, here is a four leaf clover needle case probably made by the Woodland Indians in the North East. It opens like a book and has three round pieces wool of white wool with green floss edging. The clover is made with green floss. the sewing needle case is hinged with a green ribbon tied in a bow and the latch is also green ribbon that ties to keep it closed. It is in excellent condition. It is 2 1/2" in diameter. Circa late 1800's.

Stevens & Williams Vaseline Opalescent Epergne stands 13" tall, made in the 1880's! The base is 8" wide. Has a couple of very small bubbles within the bowl. Otherwise, it has no chips or scratches. Excellent condition for something made in the 1880's. The bowl is swirl optic while the horn stem is heavily ribbed. Any questions, please ask.

This is a fine grayish lavender opaline vase. Circa 1900. It is 7 1/4" tall by 3 3/4" wide. The inside diameter of the mouth opening is 3" while the collar is only 1 3/4" in diameter.

There are no chips, no cracks and no repairs to this item. This item is in excellent condition. The gold decoration is worn.

The front half of the bootee is horizontally ribbed and has two small flowers below the opening,. The rest is covered with a small diamond pattern except for a strip of ribbing in the back. The sole is completely hollow. It is 4 1/8" long and 2 1/4" high. Circa 1900.

Excellent addition to any glass collection! Designed by Tom Connally, this decanter stands 12 1/4 inches tall with it's mushroom cap stopper. (10 3/4 inches without) and is 2 3/4 inches in diameter. The color is a crisp, clear blue. The decanter has a heavy base so its not easily tipped. These pieces were hand blown so there are variations in the glass and structure. From our World Handicrafts Collection (ex-Asia), a large and very fine Persian rug, hand-woven of wool and silk in a rich and elegant palette of deep red, dark and light blue, tan, mint green, pale orange, and cream.

Size and Condition: 10 feet and 4 inches long (124 inches), 7 feet and 8 inches wide (92 inches). There are some thread pulls and light general wear, but overall condition is excellent.

This vase is in exceptional condition, having no cracks, chips or repairs. The vase is heavy, thick walled, and has a lovely Chartreuse color.
