This is a truly exceptional example of the artistry of Berndt Friberg. This very large vase measures 15 1/4" (39cm) and is 3 1/2" (9cm) in diameter. On the underside is incised Friberg with the Gustavsberg Studio Hand insignia. The date code c signifies this vase was created in 1961. The blue/brown haresfur glaze is perfection.
This Royal Doulton "Falconer" was modeled by Max Henk. It was produced from 1960-1991.

Cylindrical, the interior glazed in a speckled grey and brown, the exterior with a dark brown glaze, leaving some stripes and the horizontal border unglazed. Diameter "5¾/ 14,5 cm, height "3¼/ 8 cm. Incised marks Palshus, Denmark, PLS, 403 and painted D. Condition: fine.

This porcelain covered box was produced in Hungary by Herend between 1950 and 1970. It has an artist’s signature on the bottom. The diameter of the box is 4 1/2 inches and it is 3 3/4 inches high. The box stands on three scrolled feet. It is made of fine, white hard paste porcelain with a high glaze finish. The painting on the lid and sides are delightful. There are fruits, vegetables and flowers hand painted with brightly colored enamels...

Anchor Hocking Bubble (Boopie) 16 oz. Lemonades were made from 1940-65 (7" tall). Commonly called Boopie. Many people purchase this less costly style to compliment Imperials' Candlewick. This porcelain vase was produced in Denmark by Dahl Jensen before 1970. It is 6 1/2 inches high and 5 1/4 inches wide. There are artist's initials and inventory numbers on the bottom, 104 over 396. The vase is ovoid but somewhat flattened. It has an interesting crackle glaze imitating the Chinese Satsuma style. There are stylized fruits and flowers hand painted on both sides. It is trimmed with gold, top and bottom.

This porcelain figurine was produced in Denmark by Dahl Jensen. The D-J factory closed in 1984. It was a relatively small factory with limited production. The model number is 1032 which we believe was modeled before 1970. It is 4 3/4 inches high and 3 1/2 inches across the wings. This duckling is a spunky little guy. His modeling captures his lively personality. He is hand painted with shades of brown and beige giving him a soft appearance.

The kitty is modeled in reclining pose. He has a little twitch in his tail as if he were just awakening from a nap. Now it’s time for a game or maybe a snack. Fenton Thumbprint Colonial Green Basket, 8" was produced in the 1960's. No logo on this one, it was made too early for that. Fenton started putting its logo on items in late 1969. Then gradually imprinted its logo on everything in 1972. (just in case you wanted to know). It is in mint condition.

This porcelain monkey was produced in Denmark by Royal Copenhagen in 1964. The marking indicated this year. It is initialed by the artist Niels Nielsen. It measures 5 inches high and is 3 inches wide. The artist portrays a female monkey in a serene pose. She looks contented, sleepy and apparently pregnant. The modeling is well done and captures the character of our distant relative. She is hand painted in a naturalistic manner.

These 8 champagne glasses or sherbets were produced in Sweden by Orrefors. We believe they were made in the 1960s. The style is very “Modern.” The opening measures 4 1/2 inches in diameter and they are 4 3/4 inches high. They are all signed with a stylus on the foot. The glass is extremely thin at the rim then increases thickness to accommodate the cut pattern. They are colored with a pale amethyst tint. They are hand cut in a geometric pattern rather like a honey comb...
