Japanese Modern silver box on stand, ca 1930. Rectangular with curved corners. Box has straight sides and cover top is gently raised and has applied gilt medallion with dramatic dragon in low relief. Box and cover interior lined with stained-wood. Stand has wide and tapering shoulder and flat well border with open stained-wood bottom. Marked. Very good condition.

Fenton Thumbprint Colonial Green Basket, 8" was produced in the 1960's. No logo on this one, it was made too early for that. Fenton started putting its logo on items in late 1969. Then gradually imprinted its logo on everything in 1972. (just in case you wanted to know). It is in mint condition.

This majolica pitcher has an unusual anchor and chain pattern around the top and pale pink flowers with green leaves on a cream background in the center. It has a brown basket weave bottom. There is some clay shrinkage on the inside. See picture for details. There are no marks.

This is a set of five pretty Light Blue Tiffin Etched Sherbet Champagnes. We do not know the etched pattern name. A majestic pair of French Old Paris Porcelain Bisque Figurines 1840s After Fragonard. Each figure measuring about 17” in height and bases, which are removable, or 7 inch diameter. This early 20th century classic estate Kiddush Cup is made of sterling silver. 5” tall and the mouth is 2 ¾” wide. The design that does not show well in the pictures runs all around the cup including a Star of David.

This is a really pretty milk glass Paneled Grape Candy Dish with Cover, featuring the hand painted Holly Christmas decoration with red trim, made by Westmoreland Glass. The Candy Dish is signed WG. A terrific pair of Art Deco sterling silver tension-hinged sugar tongs or “nips” by W. & S. Sorensen. The twisted upper handles are decorated with gilt crown-shaped finials and the tong ends repeat the twisted pattern of the upper handles. The tongs could be used for sugar cubes, candies, or even olives. Hallmarked by Sorensen. The tongs are very well made and are quite heavy.

This fine piece of Italian fruit sculpture by Archimede Seguso was blown into a diamond patterned mold and has a skillfully applied arrangement of crown leaves, each leaf applied individually. Executed in pure crystal glass, the sculptural form attracts and refracts light beautifully. The pineapple is 11.5" tall, has a polished bottom, and is in good condition with no damage, unmarked.

Antique porcelain vase of tapering baluster form. It features a gold gilded rim and is decorated in the Belleek style with fine, hand-painted colorful flowers against a yellow background. The vase is signed by artist Nellie, and there are some other markings as well. Unfortunately, the base of the vase does not have any marks. Initially, there might have been a manufacturing marking, but it has worn out over time. Therefore, we cannot identify which manufacturer made the vase...

Intensely colored amethyst glass inkwell finished with a gilt brass collar. The severe cubic form is relieved by canted, curved corners. The base is acid-stamped "Made In Czecho-Slovakia", indicating a date between the World Wars.

Origin: Czechoslovakia, ca. 1930. Condition: excellent, all original, no chips or cracks. Size: 2" x 2" x 2".

This important and fantastic example of Farsta pieces designed by Wilhelm Kåge for Gustavsberg measures 8 5/8" (22cm). On the underside of the base is incised KÅGE, and I.9. Impressed is Gustavsberg, the Studio hand insignia, and Farsta (five times). This extraordinary piece, a supreme example of Kåge's inventiveness, was created in 1959. Mint condition.

Sterling silver master butter knife in Westmoreland's 1940 "Milburn Rose" pattern. The reverse is fully hallmarked.

Origin: America, circa 1940's. Condition: the blade has a slight bend, but otherwise very good. Size: 7" long.

Large and heavy gauge sterling salt and pepper set by Los Castillo, Mexico, c.1948. Handmade, each are of slightly different proportion - each are approximately 3" high and 1 3/4" diameter at the base. Quite heavy, they each way, approximately 3 troy ounces. Each are marked "LOS CASTILLO STERLING MEXICO HANDWROUGHT 15". The interesting thing is that one is marked "123" and the other,"153", although they are a matching set...

Moderntone was produced by Hazel Atlas Glass from 1934 - 42. Offered here is the salt & pepper shaker set in cobalt. excellent condition, see my other listings for more in this pattern in cobalt and amethyst.

German Rudolstadt porcelain Potpourri Jar with inner top with holes under the top cover, 7 1/4" high, 5 1/2" wide, made by "New York & Rudolstadt Pottery" before 1920 with large pink and baby blue transfer floral design highlighted in brilliant gold on semi dull finish glaze, gold finish is worn on the round knob, and swirling wave pattern on the body. Glaze hairline across the top cover but did not go down all the way.

This OLD MASTER-EMBOSSED(SILVER PLATE,ROSES AND SCROLLS) by TOWLE, Holloware, is 11" in diameter nad 2 14" deep. Please notice there is a small silver loss on the inside bottom rib. Please take a look at the picture for a better description.

A George Erickson Sterling Silver Claret or Ice Tea Spoon. Erickson was an Arts and Crafts silversmith who worked for Arthur Stone from 1915-1932 and then went out on his own. His grandson still operates the business in Gardner, MA, making handmade silver. Dimensions; 12.5" long; bowl 3" x 1.75". Weight 3.2 Troy ounces. Marked "Erickson Sterling Handwrought". The Florentine pattern was produced by Hazel Atlas Glass Company from 1932 to 1935. It was made with scalloped edges or straight edges. Although Hazel Atlas didn't distinguish one from the other, collectors today call the scalloped edge 'Florentine 1' and the straight edge style 'Florentine 2'. A heavy quality and vintage silverplated covered entree serving dish with a removable divider. This dish features a removable handle and it has gadroon edges.
