Consolidated Glass Company produced the Catalonian line in 1927. It was made to look like glass found in Catalonia Spain at the archaeological sites, and had bubbles and raised rings blown into the glass. This beautiful hand painted Muhlhause vase is hand painted and enameled. The glass is an opaque soft white and the enameling design is floral. The colors are rich and the decoration is bright with gold trim to suggest naturalistic Art Nouveau themes of foliage, birds and flowers.

The top is a maroon-brown color. The diameter of the mouth is 3 1/2" and the base is 4 1/2"

A vintage sterling silver Caddy spoon by William Spratling with a lightly hammered finish and shovel design. This spoon is from the first design period.

Measures 3 5/8" long and 1 1/2" across. Dates from before 1946. Marked with the script 'WS' surrounded by Spratling Made in Mexico, and Spratling Silver. Marks show some wear. Has minor wear to the surface appropriate to the age, some tarnish and surface scratches.

Fratelli Toso Rose Bowl constructed of Cattedrale (or Tiffany Window) murrines in reds, greens, yellows and blue. The murrines feature clear "windows" of glass.Some have "bullseye" configurations in the clear window and black (nerox) glass frames. This is a delightful 4 inch (10.2 cm) diameter bowl with a height of 3.75 inches (9.5 cm) due to the polished top. Excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. Circa 1955.

An attractive, colorful frit paperweight showing a pair of hearts shot through with an arrow and surrounded by a laurel wreath and the word "Friendship," all against a bright mottled umbrella ground. The pontil is ground and frosted. The glass is nicely free of striae and bubbles. The quality of workmanship is quite good, and the weight is certainly the handiwork of one of the better West Virginia glass makers, possibly Gentile.

Hex Optic is one of the earlier depression patterns. It was made by Jeannette Glass from 1928 to 1932 and used extensively in their kitchenware lines.
