A fascinating manipulation of fired on patination to the copper or bronze, shouldered vase. A rich, earthy copper red fired on patina is on the interior and on the exterior serving as background to irregular streams, inlets and pools of dappled verdigris among, and picked out by, (seemingly) flames of speckled gold fading into the background color. This wonderful ivy or rose compote vase has all the bells and whistles of lovely Depression glassware. The cranberry flash bowl shows cut diamond lines with flowers at each intersection complimented by circle cuts to make a lovely art deco look around the bowl. This wonderful vintage piece is handmade by Morgantown Glass. The wine bowl is surrounded by medallions of dancing nudes and flaming torches. It sits on the Ballerina stem (#7630) of pulled glass that is attached to the broad, clear foot. This stem stands 6" tall and is in excellent, undamaged condition. Terrific ruby red glass dumbbell cocktail shaker by West Virginia Specialty Glass Co. The shaker was made in several different colors, with the ruby red being one of the most desirable. The shaker is pictured in Visakay's book.

This porcelain covered box was produced in Hungary by Herend between 1950 and 1970. It has an artist’s signature on the bottom. The diameter of the box is 4 1/2 inches and it is 3 3/4 inches high. The box stands on three scrolled feet. It is made of fine, white hard paste porcelain with a high glaze finish. The painting on the lid and sides are delightful. This porcelain figural group was produced in Germany by Hutschenreuther in the 1950s. It measures 9 1/2 inches high and 6 inches wide. The piece has a glamorous 1950s look. The gentleman has three fingers held up for three kisses from his lady. The group is finely modeled with excellent detail. It is hand painted to give just enough color and definition to the couple.

An uncommon boxed set of twelve Art Deco sterling silver cocktail picks with red bakelite finials in the shape of maraschino cherries. The picks are presented in their original velvet and silk-lined fitted box. Each pick is marked “Sterling Silver”. It's quite rare to find a set of a dozen picks rather than the standard six.

A very elegant Art Deco cranberry-cut-to-clear crystal cocktail shaker. The glass is very clear and quite heavy. The style of cutting suggests Val Saint-Lambert as the most likely maker. The shaker is finished with a silverplate strainer and cap.

A very nice cut crystal cocktail shaker in cobalt blue overlay. The design is a classic pattern of angular mitres emanating from oval printies. The shaker is acid-signed on the bottom "Japan". Cut glass in the Art Deco style was one of the industries established in Japan during the Occupation following World War II, and the products are always of fine quality that easily compete with European products of the same era...
This lovely Cambridge Glass crystal creamer and sugar set are quite elegant. They feature leaf emblems with flowers surrounding the body of each piece. A superb and important example of Wilhelm Kage's Farsta series. This vase measures 8 1/4" high and 6 1/2" wide. The glaze is in browns and tans and the decorations is of incised squares, rectangles and vertical lines; it is truly a work of art. On the underside is incised Farsta nine times, Kage, the Gustavsberg hand, Studio, and the letter Y, which dates this piece to 1954. Condition is mint. Museum quality.

Consolidated Glass Company produced the Catalonian line in 1927. It was made to look like glass found in Catalonia Spain at the archaeological sites, and had bubbles and raised rings blown into the glass. This is the 1154 sweet pea vase - part of the Spanish Knobs variation - in pink cased glass. A heavy pewter jigger in the form of a shotgun shell by Conoy’s of London. The side is marked off in increments, and the head and rim and finished in brass.
