I am not a specialist in this sort of thing, but will describe to the best of my ability: this is a vintage, circa 1920's to early 1940's at latest, ceramic work depicting a distant fairy castle, towering cumulus clouds in the sky, a grove of trees at right balancing the scene. Measurements are 9 1/2" by 10 1/2" by 7/8" thick, and the piece weighs roughly 2 3/4 pounds. More than likely this is by one of the known ceramic works of California from the Arts and Crafts period; found in Los Angeles...

A vintage sterling silver figural jigger by Gorham, the sides marked off with enameled stoplights in green, yellow and red meant to signify "go," "caution," and "stop." Each light corresponds to the 1, 2-1/2, and 3-1/2 ounce markings on the jigger's bottom. This example is noticeably heavier than other Gorham stoplights we've had, suggesting that it's of an earlier date. The bottom is hallmarked by Gorham.

This classic Mandruzatto block vase, done in the Sommerso technique with layers of ruby in crystal glass, has 8 cut and polished facets. While a labor intensive technique, this style reveals the elegant beauty of the glass, and produces wonderful optics. Made in 1970s or 80s. It stands 6 1/2" h by 3" diameter. The piece is in excellent condition. It has "Made in Murano Italy" label.

Melusina or Melusine is a heroine in medieval European folklore. This figurine is a modernist version of her transformation into an often two-tailed mermaid or fish. Unglazed stoneware and gilt hairstyle. Little is known about Y-Keramik other than the workshop was situated in former Western Germany and that the gilding was made of 24 karat gold, this information available on paper labels on other Y-Keramik figures from the 1970's. Fenton Colonial Amber Thumbprint 10 oz. goblet was produced from 1969-74. It measures 6.5" tall and is 3.5" across the top. In mint condition. Three are available.

A nice sterling silver double jigger, the bell-shaped cups joined by a spherical holder, by Graff, Washbourne and Dunn. This New York maker was known for the high quality of its smaller wares such as this. The company closed in 1961, but the generous weight of this jigger suggests an earlier date.

Featuring a kneeling nude woman with irises surrounding the rim, it is a heavy piece much like a sculpture.
