A vintage sterling silver vermouth dispenser in the form of a syringe by Gorham. These were called “Martini Spikes” when sold by Gorham in the 1960s. The functioning plunger allows vermouth to be drawn up into the syringe and then dispensed in precisely-calibrated medical dosages into your favorite cocktail. The syringe originally cost $10. The syringe is accompanied by an illustrated instruction card and the original fitted box.

Early vintage rosewood & sterling silver dish or ashtray designed & signed c. 1930's by American & Taxco, Mexico artist William Spratling (1900-67). The piece measures 3 1/4" across and 1 1/2" high. The hand carved octangular wood holder is inset with a hand hammered 980 sterling silver liner. Signed twice - WS TAXCO 980 on the silver, also WS TAXCO branded into the underside of the wood. Spratling always branded his wood furniture and objects. Beautiful condition...

Winter scene with pale yellow background, ground and trees covered with snow, and wonder black and red birds sitting on the naked branches of the trees. This porcelain and silver tea cup and saucer was produced in Germany by Freidrich Deusch silver company circa 1950. The set retains its original paper labels which cover the porcelain blank mark.
