This classic Mandruzatto block vase, done in the Sommerso technique with layers of ruby in crystal glass, has 8 cut and polished facets. A witty sterling silver vermouth dispenser in the form of a watering can by Cartier. When tipped, the dispenser lightly sprinkles just a drip of vermouth into the glass for the perfect martini. The bottom is marked "Sterling" and is signed "Cartier".

Beautiful Daum Nancy 4 5/8 inch tall cameo cabinet vase decorated with red lilies and green leaves on a pale amber ground which in turn incorporates an amethyst spatter pattern near the base. The vase is 1 7/8 inches in diameter at the rim and 2 ½ inches at the shoulder. The vase is signed with the Daum logo and “France” in cameo. A differently shaped vase having the same decoration and coloration is shown as item E in figure 127 on page 86 of Blount’s “French Cameo Glass.”

Fenton Custard/Ivy Nappy is in mint condition. It has a butterfly raised motifs on the inside of the 2-handled bowl. It will glow under a black light.

Hewn from one piece of wood, our porcine friend leisurely resided for many years on the enclosed back porch of historic Coolmore Plantation, Taroboro, NC (see last photo of home).
