Woodblock print by Japanese artist Saito circa 1950-1960, published by Uchida Art Co. This print is of two young girls wearing very bright and beautiful kimonos in various shades of green, blue, yellow, pink, and red. One girl holds a fan while the other holds a small toy of a bird. A paper lantern hangs behind the head of the smaller girl. Both girls have precious, doll-like features.

Ornate English sterling silver picture frame by Keyford Frames. Featuring a heart-shaped opening with with cherubs at each corner, the frame is hallmarked KFD. Backed in very dark purplish blue velvet, it stands 7.5" high at the highest point x 5.5" wide. The heart-shaped opening will hold a 4" wide x 5.5" high photo. A little wear to the velvet at the bottom, otherwise in excellent condition.
An elegant sterling silver picture frame with a fluted design featuring a cartouche at the top ready to be engraved. Backed in burgundy velvet, the frame measures 7.25" high x 5" wide. Site size (window opening) is 4.75" X 3.25". In excellent condition, it is marked STERLING in the lower left corner.

Nursery rhyme-themed sterling silver porringer. Made by Tiffany in New York. Round and curved. Handle solid and curvilinear with goose neck mounts. On handle is low-relief depiction of Old King Cole, who has "called for his pipe and called for his bowl." A dense olden-days scene with no room for the "fiddlers three." There's plenty of room for engraving, though. Fully marked including postwar pattern no. 25352. Very good condition.

A fine and vintage pair of sterling silver three-footed open salt dishes with cobalt glass liners. These 1-1/8" tall and 2" across salt dips are stamped STERLING /183 and they weigh 47.4 grams (silver only). This pair of table serving pieces is is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than a bit of roughness (a couple of fleabites) on the hidden outer edge of one of the hand-ground liners...
Tiffin made Twilight for many, many years. It does change color -- icey blue in fluorescent lighting, pastel lavendar in sunlight or incandescent (the old light bulbs). This compote is made from Duncan & Miller's Canterbury mold. Made in the 1960-70's. It is in mint condition and stands 5.25" tall and about 7" at its widest. We think that Jefferson Glass made these pancake french opalescent coin dot lamps in the 1930's. Previously thought they were made by Fenton, but Fenton's chimney is shaped like a pulled tulip -- not the bulbous shape seen here. This one has a rim-chip on the bottom of its chimney, hidden when sitting on its socket. It is 11" tall and about 8" wide at the base. Original wiring (2-prong plug).
A very rare wood and pewter bar caraffe or decanter with glass thermos liner and Swiss made musical movement which plays "The Blue Danube" by Johann Strauss. This item was designed by Aldo Tura for Macabo of Milan, Northern Italy, and made circa 1958.
Condition: excellent - there is a little rusting to the movement which is in good working condition; there are no damages and no repairs or restoration.

A rare and beautiful Murano glass vase made by Barovier & Toso around 1950, in their 'Laguna Gematta' decor. The aqua-colored vase has embedded flecks of gold, which is typical of Laguna/autumno Gematta decor. The vase is 11 1/2 inches (29 cm) tall, 8 1/4 inches (21 cm) wide at the top and is 5 1/8 inches (13 cm) deep. It is in fine condition, without chips, cracks or repairs (there are some usage scratches at the bottom, as expected). Polished pontil. Unsigned, as expected.

An English hand painted Gaudy Welsh tea set by Allerton's, consisting of the 6" high teapot (including finial), the 5" tall large covered sugar bowl, the 4-3/4" tall milk or cream jug, four 2-1/2" tall cups and four 5-7/8" fitted saucers. Including the lids there are 13 pieces and each is handpainted with cobalt, orange, green and copper lustre. the shape and decoration are undoubtedly those of Allertons however the saucers are marked with what appear to be impressed date stamps (from 1928-29)...

This pair of porcelain plates was produced in England by Royal Worcester in 1925. The date code indicates this year. The floral painting is signed by E. Phillips. The plates were produced especially for the retailer Ovington Brothers in New York. These plates measure 10 1/2 inches in diameter. They have a two inch crimson red border that is overlaid with elaborate raised gilding. Brilliantly colored flowers fill the centers of each plate...
