Original hand thrown and hand enameled vase by Gilbert Portanier (France, born 1926). This vase measures roughly 7", with a diameter at the base of 5". It is signed with Portanier's distinctive monogram near the base. In excellent condition except for a glaze chip near the mouth of the vase. Portanier is one of the most important ceramic artists in the second half of the twentieth century in France.

This porcelain vase was produced in Denmark by Dahl Jensen before 1970. It is 6 1/2 inches high and 5 1/4 inches wide. There are artist's initials and inventory numbers on the bottom, 104 over 396. The vase is ovoid but somewhat flattened. It has an interesting crackle glaze imitating the Chinese Satsuma style. There are stylized fruits and flowers hand painted on both sides. It is trimmed with gold, top and bottom. Condition: This handsome vase is in excellent condition.

The size of Trinket Box: 2 3/8" Long x 1 1/4" W x 2 1/4" High. This is very adorable French Porcelain Limoges Trinket Pig Box. It is all hand painted. The subject of Little lady pig taking the nap on the blue cushion with semi bikini. Inside box has her bikini top as well as sunglass and necklace. French Faience Pottery Transfer ware small Plate, Cow with bell around the neck in the green pasture bordered by repeated pink flower petals, 6 1/2" diameter, 7/8" high, very pleasing and peaceful design, black writing mark and impressed mark "V9" on the bottom. The condition is good.

"Frence hand painted" mark French Porcelain fluted marquise shape small Dish, maybe Samson Porcelain factory, 1960's, 1" high, 4" 3 1/4" wide, beautifully raised enamel painted of Pomegranate branch in the center inside border of scrolling vines with lots of brilliant gold highlighted. Marked "France Hand painted". The condition is like new.

DESCRIPTION: A lovely set of five red clay Mexican earthenware nesting bowls, dating from the 1950's. The bowls are decorated in fluid strokes of blue between blue line borders on a white/cream ground. The interiors have a line of blue around the inner circumference with dollops of green glaze. Very good condition, no chips, original imperfections that add to the charm. DIMENSIONS: Largest bowl: 10.25 diameter x 4.75” high. Smallest bowl: 5.5” diameter x 2” high.
