This ceramic wall plaque was produced in France at the Manufacture Nationale de Sevres in 1928. The artist is Adrian August Leduc. His painted signature is on the back of the plaque as well as an impressed mark. It measures 11 ¼ inches in diameter and is 1 ½ inches deep. The design is abstract and high relief. There are rows of white circles with gray accents. There is wonderful texture to the surface...
These 6 porcelain plates were produced in England by Royal Worcester in 1958. The markings on the back indicate this year of manufacture. The plates have a diameter of 10 3/4 inches. They are made of fine bone china. Each plate is hand painted with a different spray of flowers and are signed by the artist Freeman. The flowers are vibrantly, and realistically rendered. The flowers account for an area of 3 1/2 inches in diameter...

This porcelain figurine was produced in Germany by the Schwarzburger Werkstatten or Schwarzburg Workshops in the 1920s. The base has the impressed initials AST which stand for the artist Albert Storch. The factory was founded by Max Aldolf Pfeiffer in 1908 and he was the director until 1913 at which time he became the artistic director at Meissen. The highest standards of artistic accomplishment is evident. The macaw is 15 1/2 inches high, 12 inches wide and 7 inches deep...

This important and fantastic example of Farsta pieces designed by Wilhelm Kåge for Gustavsberg measures 8 5/8" (22cm). On the underside of the base is incised KÅGE, and I.9. Impressed is Gustavsberg, the Studio hand insignia, and Farsta (five times). This extraordinary piece, a supreme example of Kåge's inventiveness, was created in 1959. Mint condition.
A superb and important example of Wilhelm Kage's Farsta series. This vase measures 8 1/4" high and 6 1/2" wide. The glaze is in browns and tans and the decorations is of incised squares, rectangles and vertical lines; it is truly a work of art. On the underside is incised Farsta nine times, Kage, the Gustavsberg hand, Studio, and the letter Y, which dates this piece to 1954. Condition is mint. Museum quality.
This is a truly exceptional example of the artistry of Berndt Friberg. This very large vase measures 15 1/4" (39cm) and is 3 1/2" (9cm) in diameter. On the underside is incised Friberg with the Gustavsberg Studio Hand insignia. The date code c signifies this vase was created in 1961. The blue/brown haresfur glaze is perfection.
This extraordinary vessel is a prime example of Wilhelm Kåge's celebrated Farsta series for Gustavsberg, Sweden. This piece measures 10 1/2" tall and is 4 7/8" in diameter. On the underside is incised Kåge, Gustavsberg, the Gustavsberg Studio hand insignia, and the date code Z. This magnificent vessel was created in 1955. Mint condition.
This is one of the finest examples of Berndt Friberg's ceramic mastery that I have acquired since dealing from 1984. It has never been in a shop or auction, but has an important provenance and was procured directly from Friberg. It is without any flaws, which is extremely rare for a piece of this size. Magnificent in every way. It measures 15 3/4" and is 3 3/4' in diameter. Museum quality for the advanced collector.
