This is a truly elegant shaped TOBO vase by Erich and Ingrid Triller. It measures 6 3/8" (16cm) tall. On the underside is painted Tobo Triller. The unusual glaze is a yellow ochre, and one of the finest examples of the Triller's artistry. Mint condition.
A Herend Printemps hand painted oblong trinket or cigarette box with floral decoration and gold trim. This 6-3/4 x 3-1/2" box stands 1-1/2" tall and it is probably one of the many Printemps pieces which all have similar and slightly variant floral designs. This ceramic wall plaque was produced in France at the Manufacture Nationale de Sevres in 1928. The artist is Adrian August Leduc. His painted signature is on the back of the plaque as well as an impressed mark. It measures 11 ¼ inches in diameter and is 1 ½ inches deep. The design is abstract and high relief. Two stoneware tiles from the “Fritte” range, designed by Aldo Londi and produced by Bitossi in the 1950s for Illums Bolighus, famous design department store in Copenhagen. This porcelain dish was produced in Germany by the Royal Berlin Porcelain Manufactory, known as KPM, in 1920. The dish measures 8 1/2 inches across the handles and is 2 inches high. The porcelain blank has a reticulated border and intricate molded scrolls. The base of the dish stands on four scrolled feet. A classic Art Deco porcelain water jug advertising Ricard Anisette. In the south of France, tradition dictates that Ricard and other anise-flavored spirits be drunk with a side of water. Makers such as Ricard and Pernod provided advertising pitchers to local bars to increase their sales. This globe form is the classic shape from the first half of the 20th century. The bottom is marked “Ateliers de Céramique Ricard/Made in France”.
