Round decorative tile of an early steamship atop a Sherwin-Williams-type schematic earth, diameter 7 3/8" and about 7/8" thick at the edges. This is a hand crafted and no doubt unique piece; hand painted, and glazed. On the reverse is scratched into the ceramic what I take to be apparently the date: "11-7-22". There are two holes drilled at the top, through which a wire has been strung, to allow this to hang on a wall. See several thousand paintings, drawings and prints in my shop.

This porcelain and silver tea cup and saucer was produced in Germany by Freidrich Deusch silver company circa 1950. The set retains its original paper labels which cover the porcelain blank mark. The saucer is 6 inches in diameter and the cup is 2 inches high. A delightful design of hand painted birds and flowers is outlined in silver. It is a rare and desirable set to find. "Frence hand painted" mark French Porcelain fluted marquise shape small Dish, maybe Samson Porcelain factory, 1960's, 1" high, 4" 3 1/4" wide, beautifully raised enamel painted of Pomegranate branch in the center inside border of scrolling vines with lots of brilliant gold highlighted. Tall Czech Amphora art deco 2 handled pottery vase featuring enameled ostriches and palm trees set against a textured matte ground. The backside had a very art deco design, perhaps a stylized flower? In excellent, it measures 16 inches high. More photos available upon request.

This three cup candelabra (which may be turned upside down) measures 5" tall and is 7 1/8" in length. On the underside of one of the cups is painted Sweden 26III; on another the Gustavsberg Studio hand insignia and the painter's mark of a star. The cups are hand painted in blue, yellow and red. This porcelain covered box was produced in Germany by Meissen in the mid 20th century. Is has a diameter of 3 1/2 inches and is 2 1/2 inches high. The porcelain is the finest quality ever made. It is beautifully hand painted with a spray of colorful and realistic flowers. There are sprigs of flowers dotting the lower half of the box. The rims are trimmed with heavy gilding. Condition: Excellent. This is a first quality piece.

Aldo Londi for Bitossi: a massive stoneware vase, thinly applied glaze to the exterior a rhombic pattern of in orange and yellow with “volcanic” effects, and a glossy glaze to the interior. Aldo Londi was the artistic leader of Bitossi, the renowned Italian ceramic company. Marked 3030/537 and Italy. Height "7/ 18 cm. Condition: a few glaze flakes to the mouth rim (cf. pics).

French Majolica knife rests from the 1950s, a pair. Handmade, unsigned but likely from Vallauris, the foremost ceramic centre in postwar France, also favoured by artists like Picasso. Length c."4/ 10 cm. Condition: a small glaze flake to the tip of the tail of one dove (cf. pic 3 and 4).

This porcelain figurine was produced in Germany by Rosenthal in the 1950s. It has the artist’s signature, Fritz Heidenreich, impressed into the base. The bird measures 9 5/8 inches high and is 9 1/2 inches long. The bird is modeled with his beautiful tail feathers extended in their natural splendor. The colors are brilliant. He is wonderful to look at from any position. Heidenreich had the ability to bring this exotic bird alive in porcelain. Condition: Excellent

Measuring 6.75 inches in diameter and 4 inches high, this wonderful, C1920, Ohio-made, yellow ware, spongeware batter bowl features fabulous blue sponging and is much more striking “in person” than the photos were able to capture.

Basket weave rectangular cache-pot/flower pot and interior liner by Waechtersbach. Decoration of green dots and a printed flower border in late Art Nouveau or Jugendstil style, also running over the handles of the pot. The liner left undecorated. A fine quality, fully hand painted English bone china covered oval entree dish dated 1907. Antique stoneware vase featuring a central motif of a long stem chrysanthemum with smaller stems surrounding it against a shaded blue ground. This vase is hand-painted and has an overall crackle. Lovely pair of porcelain compotes in the "Dresden Garland" pattern by Schumann. The pierced rims are heavily decorated with colorful flowers and gilding.
