This porcelain vase was produced in Copenhagen, Denmark by the Royal Copenhagen factory in the mid 20th century. It is marked with the inventory number 3143. The vase measures 9 inches tall and has a diameter of 7 1/2 inches. It has an interesting crenelated shape with a flared scalloped rim. This is one of the finest examples of Berndt Friberg's ceramic mastery that I have acquired since dealing from 1984. It has never been in a shop or auction, but has an important provenance and was procured directly from Friberg. It is without any flaws, which is extremely rare for a piece of this size. Magnificent in every way. It measures 15 3/4" and is 3 3/4' in diameter. Museum quality for the advanced collector.

This old ceramic tray/plate is made for the Straits Chinese Community, it is of the typical pheonix design. It is an example of the nyonya ware, handpainted and used for serving tea. This porcelain box was produced in Hungary by Herend between 1905 and 1938. It measures 4 inches long, 3 1/4 inches wide and 2 inches deep. The box is decorated with bright hand painted fruits and flowers. There are tiny flower buds, nuts and bugs dotting the corners. The box has four little feet. It is trimmed with gold on the rims.

Mosaic pottery tazza and vase from the 1940s or 50s, by Gerbino, France. The handling and modelling of clays in various colors necessary for the creation of this kind of art objects was a complicated procedure, mastered only by Jean Gerbino and his family in Vallauris, the French studio pottery center of the period. This is one of a set of three French majolica plates, 20th century, two marked "P-V" and "France", the other incised "Made in France", all stamped "26947", molded in relief with grapes and grapevines in a central reserve; good coloration; Overall condition very good, one has small chip on rim base, no cracks or paint flakes; 8" diam.
Stoneware vase by Arne Bang around 1940, with an applied twig of flowers and a very light matte glaze. Signed with the AB monogram and 184, the model number in Bang's sketch book. Height "3 ½ / 9 cm: Condition: some roughness to the underside of the second flower, otherwise fine.
This vintage stoneware pottery 6 gallon ice water dispenser (water cooler) was made by Roseville Pottery Company circa 1900 or before.
The cooler measures 17 1/2" including the lid. The outside diameter is 12". This crock, stoneware ice water cooler weighs in at a hefty 41 pounds.
The blue paint is still very vibrant. The gasket around the spigot should be replaced because it has some dry rot. Overall condition is excellent except for one 2 1/4" exterior craze line near the top.
This three cup candelabra (which may be turned upside down) measures 5" tall and is 7 1/8" in length. On the underside of one of the cups is painted Sweden 26III; on another the Gustavsberg Studio hand insignia and the painter's mark of a star. The cups are hand painted in blue, yellow and red. Large and impressive French Art Deco vase by Robert Lallemant (1902-1954), circa 1928-1930. Almost black iridescent glaze. Fully signed: "T.R.Lallemant" and inscribed "France". 14 3/4" tall.
