This is a really nice Coralbel Gravy or Sauce Boat with Attached Under Plate made by Syracuse China. The Gravy measures 8 1/2 inches wide X 5 inches across. Small bottle-shape vase by Dean Mullavey (Canadian, born in New Hampshire, USA, in 1927), in excellent condition. This small stoneware bottle measures 4 1/4" in height. Incised signature and chop. It was created around 1960-1961 while the artist was a member of the Clay Art Center in Port Chester, NY (all information courtesy of the artist). From a North Carolina estate. One of four early works by this artist currently available.

A pair of globular small electric bedside lamps decorated with roses hand painted by Joseph Nekola Junior and sold by Plitchta, London. Joseph, the son of Karel Nekola an original decorator at Weymss, was taught by his father to paint the well know roses. After the original factory at Weymss closed the Bovey Pottery in Devon continued to make, “Weymss Ware” with Joseph the decorator and trainer of apprentices...

This set of 6 fruit knives, stainless steel blades and porcelain handles, was produced in England by Royal Crown Derby before 1970. They are 8 1/2 inches long. They are in a silk lined fitted box. The handles are fine bone china. They are decorated with a floral transfer decoration which is painted over by hand. The stainless steel blades have a serrated edge. Condition: Excellent. They have never been used.

English Aynsley Bone China Dinner Plate, fluted edge with multi floral decoration, marked "Aynsley, England, fine English Bone China" in green on the bottom. The condition is good.

This tortoise ashbowl measures 7 1/4" in diameter and 2" high.

Due to the polularity of the tortoise figurines, Wade decided to introduce an ashtray, or ashbowl, utilizing the figurines as decoration to add interest to the bowls. The bowl is in the Scintillite finish.

Original hand thrown and hand enameled vase by Gilbert Portanier (France, born 1926). This vase measures roughly 7", with a diameter at the base of 5". It is signed with Portanier's distinctive monogram near the base. In excellent condition except for a glaze chip near the mouth of the vase. Portanier is one of the most important ceramic artists in the second half of the twentieth century in France.

This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in Hungary by the Herend Factory between 1950 and 1970. The saucer has a diameter of 4 1/2 inches and the cup is 2 1/4 inches high. The set has a molded swirl and basket weave pattern in the porcelain. It is hand painted with brightly colored flowers and fruits. There are tiny insects dotting the inside of the cup and on the outside of the saucer. They don’t eat too much. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain charger was produced in Germany by Meissen before 1970. It has a diameter of 10 inches and is 1 3/4 inches deep. The porcelain is the highest quality, with a shiny, even glaze. It is decorated with Chinese style ornaments. There are fighting roosters in the center, dragons and Chinese ornaments, all hand painted and gilded. There is heavy gold trim on the rim. Condition: Excellent. This is a first quality charger.

Aldo Londi for Bitossi: a massive stoneware vase, thinly applied glaze to the exterior a rhombic pattern of in orange and yellow with “volcanic” effects, and a glossy glaze to the interior. Aldo Londi was the artistic leader of Bitossi, the renowned Italian ceramic company. Marked 3030/537 and Italy. Height "7/ 18 cm. Condition: a few glaze flakes to the mouth rim (cf. pics).

Aldo Londi for Bitossi: a circular stoneware bowl, covered all over with Lava glaze, full of “volcanic” effects in intense shades of yellowish-green and orange. This pattern is also seen in vases, boxes etc. from Bitossi. Aldo Londi was the artistic leader of this renown Italian ceramic company. Marked 3030/564 (?) and Italy. Mid Century sterling silver teething ring with a large amber bead that moves. Marked on the inside "STERLING", it is in excellent condition. At its widest point, the silver teething ring measures 3.5" (8.9 cm). The very large natural amber bead measures 1.5" (3.8 cm) wide and 1" (2.5 cm) high. A child's name is hand engraved on one side and can be easily buffed out by your jeweler. We will polish before shipping if requested.

Here is a charming miniature vase by Sven Jonson, as part of the celebrated Argenta series of objects produced by Gustavsberg, Sweden. It measures 2 1/4" (5.5cm) high. The stylized fish decoration is stunning, with no silver loss. Mint condition.

Here is an adorable bear sculpture by Knud Kuhn for Royal Copenhagen, Denmark. It measures 3 1/8" high. On the underside is painted three wavy lines, Denmark, and 2/433, stating this was number 2 out of a run 433 pieces. Incised is number 12.

These 8 champagne glasses or sherbets were produced in Sweden by Orrefors. We believe they were made in the 1960s. The style is very “Modern.” The opening measures 4 1/2 inches in diameter and they are 4 3/4 inches high...

This porcelain monkey was produced in Denmark by Royal Copenhagen in 1964. The marking indicated this year. It is initialed by the artist Niels Nielsen. It measures 5 inches high and is 3 inches wide. The artist portrays a female monkey in a serene pose. She looks contented, sleepy and apparently pregnant. The modeling is well done and captures the character of our distant relative. She is hand painted in a naturalistic manner. Condition: Exellent first quality.

This is a set of SIX porcelain coffee cups (3" x 3 7/8") and matching saucers, handpainted for Gefle, Upsala-Ekeby. Mint condition. A superb, eye-catching set.

This porcelain figurine was produced in Denmark by Dahl Jensen before 1970. It has a model number 1005 on the base. It is 5 1/2 inches long, 3 inches wide and 2 3/4 inches high. The kitty is modeled in reclining pose. He has a little twitch in his tail as if he were just awakening from a nap. Now it’s time for a game or maybe a snack. He is hand painted with the most beautiful cat eyes. Condition: Excellent, first quality.

This porcelain figurine was produced in Denmark by Dahl Jensen. The D-J factory closed in 1984. It was a relatively small factory with limited production. The model number is 1032 which we believe was modeled before 1970. It is 4 3/4 inches high and 3 1/2 inches across the wings. This duckling is a spunky little guy. His modeling captures his lively personality. He is hand painted with shades of brown and beige giving him a soft appearance. Condition: Excellent, first quality. ...

This porcelain vase was produced in Denmark by Dahl Jensen before 1970. It is 6 1/2 inches high and 5 1/4 inches wide. There are artist's initials and inventory numbers on the bottom, 104 over 396. The vase is ovoid but somewhat flattened. It has an interesting crackle glaze imitating the Chinese Satsuma style. There are stylized fruits and flowers hand painted on both sides. It is trimmed with gold, top and bottom. Condition: This handsome vase is in excellent condition.

This dynamic bear by Knud Kyhn for Royal Copenhagen has an incredible glaze. It measures 3 1/2" (8.25cm) tall and is 5" (13cm) in length. Mint condition. On the underside is painted three wavy lines and the artist's initials KK.

An exceptional example of the work of Ingrid and Erich Triller. This vase measures 5" tall and is 3" in diameter. On the underside is painted Triller and Tobo. The glaze is a complex of blue/grey. Mint condition.

An Arabia Finland stoneware bowl, the inside with glazed decoration of a shrimp. 1960s, signed Arabia and NH (?) Width: 6 " / 15 cm. Condition: some iridescent and matte imperfections to the glaze in the centre (less evident than on the photo).

A delicately modelled hand painted figure group made by the Herend Porcelain Manufactory, Hungary, during the 1950s or the 1960s. Condition: excellent - no losses and no restoration. 19cm (7.5 inches) high; 14cm (5.5 inches) across.

Candle holder or small vase by Liisa Hallamaa for Arabia, stoneware, the upper part with eruptive glaze effects. In 1950 LA joined the Arabia company, where she became a great experimenter and innovator of glazes before opening up a studio of her own in 1971. Signed LH Arabia. This is a truly exceptional example of the artistry of Berndt Friberg. This very large vase measures 15 1/4" (39cm) and is 3 1/2" (9cm) in diameter. On the underside is incised Friberg with the Gustavsberg Studio Hand insignia. The date code c signifies this vase was created in 1961. The blue/brown haresfur glaze is perfection.

Here is an exceptional and massive vase by Anna-Lisa Thomson for Upsala-Ekeby. It measures 14 1/2" tall. Marked with the artist's initials on the underside. Mint condition.

Offered here is an eye-catching vessel by Ingrid Atterberg for Upsala-Ekeby, Sweden. It measures 4 3/4" (12cm) and is 5" (12.5cm) in diameter. On the underside is incised UE, Abg, the number 2028, and Sweden. Mint condition.

Francesca Mascitti Lindh for Arabia, double-handled jar, 1960s. Shape referring to the Bronze Age. Height: 3 " / 7, 5 cm, width: 6 1/2 " / 16,5 cm. Condition: part of the rim restuck and a glaze chip on the side has been refilled.

This is one of the finest examples of Berndt Friberg's ceramic mastery that I have acquired since dealing from 1984. It has never been in a shop or auction, but has an important provenance and was procured directly from Friberg. It is without any flaws, which is extremely rare for a piece of this size. Magnificent in every way. It measures 15 3/4" and is 3 3/4' in diameter. Museum quality for the advanced collector.

Generous redware teapot by Dybdahl, Denmark, 1960’s. The inside, the spout and handle, rim and lid with a smooth transparent glaze, the rest unglazed. Impressed, stamped decoration of little masks or stylized sun faces. In the studio of Palle and Margrethe Dybdahl Margrethe did the wheel throwing and the decorations and Palle the glazes. The teapot takes 1.2 litres and pours well. Width spout to handle "10 / 26 cm. Condition: some roughness around the spout.
