This porcelain miniature tureen was produced in Hungary by Herend in 1976. It is a commemorative piece celebrating 150 years of production by Herend. These 8 porcelain tea cups and saucers were produced in Hungary by Herend between 1950 and 1970. The saucers are 5 3/4 inches in diameter and the cups are 2 inches high. They are decorated with the pattern known as “Rothschild Birds”. The porcelain is molded with a raised basket weave border. Colorful birds sit in a tree with a necklace hanging from the branches. German heavy gray color stoneware Stein, or Tankard, 8" high, 3 1/4" diameter-top rim and 4 1/2" diameter-bottom diameter, with molded design of two(2) men drinking beer beside the dog and two(2) smiling women passing by them, in dark blue background. This pair of porcelain vases was produced in Germany by Meissen in 1973. They measure 5 1/4 inches high and have a diameter of 3 1/4 inches. They have a rich cobalt blue ground. The reserves on the front of the vases are expertly hand painted. The sprays of brightly colored flowers are framed in elaborate gilded cartouches. There are other gilded features and trim. Number 9 in a series of 12 Fornasetti plates commissioned in the 1970’s by Martini & Rossi. Each plate depicts an item in their wine museum in Pessione, in this case the first barrel – Il Primo Tino - used for the fabrication of the famous Martini vermouth. Pessione is a village in northern Italy, not far from Torino. The back of the plate gives a contextual presentation of the plate and has the Fornasetti brush in hand mark. Diameter "9 ¼ / 23.7 cm. Condition: fine.

A finely sculpted bust of a young man with exceptional patina of finely blended earth and bronze pigments. Physical condition is superb, but a small amount of finish has worn around the left eye and on the top of the head exposing a green substrate, yet harmonious with the earthen finish. Signed on the back of the neck. We have been unable to decipher the signature; yet the work speaks well for the unidentified artist. Dimension: 13" h

Pair Roseville candlesticks Style #1134. What makes these different from virtually all other Roseville pieces is that they show the iris blooms in the normal three dimentional shape, rising up from the base. A classic Art Deco porcelain water jug advertising Ricard Anisette. In the south of France, tradition dictates that Ricard and other anise-flavored spirits be drunk with a side of water. Makers such as Ricard and Pernod provided advertising pitchers to local bars to increase their sales. This globe form is the classic shape from the first half of the 20th century. The bottom is marked “Ateliers de Céramique Ricard/Made in France”.
