Here is a superb example of Wilhelm Kage's celebrated Argenta series produced for Gustavsberg, Sweden. All the silver decoration is completely intact, which is rare for a piece created in 1949. See photo for markings. Perfect in every way.
Offered is a unique, original drawing by Wilhelm Kage for his celebrated Argenta series for Gustavsberg. This was acquired from a source that knew Kage personally (name protected). This would be a superb complement to the large Argenta urn on the site.
This superb vase by Berndt Friberg for Gustavsberg measures 5 1/2" (14cm) tall and is 3 1/2" (9cm) in diameter. On the underside is incised Friberg with the Gustavsberg Studio hand insignia. The date code H signifies this vessel was created in 1966. The glaze is a complex of blues and reds. Perfect foot ring and exceptional condition.

Here is an adorable bear sculpture by Knud Kuhn for Royal Copenhagen, Denmark. It measures 3 1/8" high. On the underside is painted three wavy lines, Denmark, and 2/433, stating this was number 2 out of a run 433 pieces. Incised is number 12.

Here is a lovely and rare red Argenta fruit platter designed by Wilhelm Kage for Gustavsberg, Sweden. It measures 7 1/2" in diameter. On the underside is stamped in gold the old Gustavsberg anchor insignia, Argenta, the model number 1003 I. The original label is partially intact (see photo). All silver intact.

Two beautiful and very thinly potted bowls by Sven Hofverberg in his experimental studio in south Sweden. Wonderful size and design, this mid century modernist tile is by Sylvia Leuchovius (Sweden 1915-2003) for Rorstrand Ceramic company, where she created numerous whimsical and creative objects from functional and industrial to art objects.
Measures 11 3/8" square and 1/2" deep.
Sylvia designed for the Atelje line at Rorstrand, during the production of fine Swedish design for the modern taste, and most objects were made in limited numbers.

This is beautiful piece that can be used as a candlestick holder or a small vase. It has a lovely Scandinavian, flowing design.
Made of sterling silver, it stands 5 1/8" tall. Its base has a diameter of 3". It weighs 3 ounces. The base is marked with a whale hallmark and marked DENMARK. I have left it unpolished. It is truly beautiful and in excellent condition.
