These "Liberty Blue" cup and saucer sets are 2 5/8". They have a blue and white floral rim . The scene in the saucer is that of the Old North Church. The scene on the cup is that of the Paul Revere riding through town. They are in excellent condition.

Beautiful large B&G polar bear #1857 in perfect condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. Signed on the bottom with artist initials KK which stand for Knud Kyhn. The very impressive bear stands 8 1/4" tall x 13 1/2" wide

Decorative paté jar, the lid of which is topped by a reclining, sleepy duck. Made around 1920 by Heubach, an old family business in Thuringia, Germany. Octagonal and hand painted with panels of stylized roses. In all, the design is between Art Nouveau / Jugendstil and Art Déco. With the printed Heubach Kunst Porzellan mark in use from 1910 to 1945, and impressed model number 10828. Height with the duck "4 ¼ / 11 cm and diameter "4 ¾ / 12 cm. Condition: fine.

This set of 6 fruit knives, stainless steel blades and porcelain handles, was produced in England by Royal Crown Derby before 1970. They are 8 1/2 inches long. They are in a silk lined fitted box. The handles are fine bone china. They are decorated with a floral transfer decoration which is painted over by hand. The stainless steel blades have a serrated edge. Condition: Excellent. They have never been used.

This porcelain covered box was produced in Germany by Meissen in the mid 20th century. Is has a diameter of 3 1/2 inches and is 2 1/2 inches high. The porcelain is the finest quality ever made. It is beautifully hand painted with a spray of colorful and realistic flowers. There are sprigs of flowers dotting the lower half of the box. The rims are trimmed with heavy gilding. Condition: Excellent. This is a first quality piece.

Beautiful Japanese studio vase, in the form of a Han Dynasty cocoon vase, in the Mingei style, mid 20th century. Very reminiscent of the work of Kawai Kanjiro. This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in France by Tharaud Limoges in the 1920s. The saucer has a diameter of 5 3/8 inches and the cup is 2 1/8 inches high. The cup and saucer are octagonal shaped. It is decorated in a bold, abstract art deco design. There are alternating panels of flowers and flowing colors. These panels are produced using thick enamels. You can feel the texture of the designs giving it an effect that is similar to pottery...

This is a really nice Coralbel Gravy or Sauce Boat with Attached Under Plate made by Syracuse China. The Gravy measures 8 1/2 inches wide X 5 inches across. English Aynsley Bone China Dinner Plate, fluted edge with multi floral decoration, marked "Aynsley, England, fine English Bone China" in green on the bottom. The condition is good.

A vintage pair of Chinese porcelain vases purchased in New York during the early 70's. The sexagonal vases feature a bird and flower motif. The gilded rims show faint wear. Marked with a red stamp seal and Made in Hong Kong label. 12-1/4" (h), just shy of 5-1/2" (w).

A Ruskin pottery vase by William Howson Taylor typically copying a Chinese Song dynasty shape. It has a purplish pink lustre "souffle" glaze and on the base is the impressed date 1931. Condition - excellent - no damages and no restoration. 11cm (4.3 inches) high.

This Art Deco charger, c 1939, is from Kupittaan pottery in Finland. The decoration, a male nude combined with a border of laurel leaves, suggests a Olympics venue. The 1940 Olympic Games, originally scheduled for Japan, was rescheduled for Helsinki, Finland. Those games were postponed because of the Soviet invasion of Finland in 1939. This charger probably was created in anticipation of the Helsinki games. It measures 14" in diameter, and is in mint condition. A very rare object.
