Offered is this beautiful and rare two-color (bottom part with bubbles) Murano glass vase, made by Barbini, around 1950. The vase is very heavy. It is 10 1/4 inches (26 cm) high and 9 1/4 inches (23,5 cm) wide. It is in very good condition, without chips, cracks or repairs. It is signed, 'Brrbini Murano' in script (see picture). A similar Barbini vase was sold by Skinner's on December 15, 2012 (see last two pictures for your reference).

Large, Elegant and Intricate Murano Cased ZANFIRICO Orange, White and AVENTURINE Flecks Art Glass Centerpiece Bowl with Original Label!!! Documented to FRATELLI TOSO, and pictured in the Leslie Piña book on Fratelli Toso (page 148). The piece is very deep, so can hold a large amount of flowers when displayed on your table, or with fruit in your kitchen. A fine grouping of stylized creatures including a bird, a duck, a guinea hen, a bowl in crystal with gold aventurine. All of the pieces are in excellent condition, confirmed to me personally to be by Archimede Seguso by his son, Giampolo. Two retain their original Archimede Suguso Murano labels.

This charming stylized snail by Livio Seguso, exemplifies the finesse of the Venetian Glass maestros' skills in interpreting their natural environment with hot glass. In the detail images the snail is shown with a shell form by Seguso from an earlier time: Seguso Vetri d'Arte, mid 1930's. The shell is a Flavio Poli design, and is available: item #0-18, Trocadero #860669...

A beautiful, Murano glass vase with the 'Mezza Filigrana' decor. The decor of the vase is sandwiched between a clear outer glass layer and an inner white glass layer. The glass is 3/8 inches (1 cm) thick. The heavy vase is 13 inches (33 cm) tall and 4 3/4 inches (12 cm) wide. It is without chips or cracks. There are some fabrication/annealing lines (see pictures). Unsigned. Though many Murano glass houses made vases in this technique, this vase is attributed to Barovier & Toso.

Large stoppered Nerox "a petoni" (patches)Decanter by Fratelli Toso in black glass with dark red and hot pink patches, designed by Ermanno Toso. Nerox is black oxide glass (nero = black, ox = oxide), and is a true black glass. This black glass is used to gather up the patches of colored glass to create the "a petoni" pattern on a black ground. There are versions of the patched pattern that use clear glass as the gather, rather than black glass...

A fine example of Dino Martens' masterful use of the mezza filigrana technique on a modern interpretation of the platter form. The platter has a skillfully applied ring foot and remnants of its label. The piece is in excellent condition and is 11.25"x 3.5"h.

Offered is this exceptional set of Murano glass 'Nerox', covered jars, made by Fratelli Toso around 1960 - the jars were designed by Ermanno Toso. The taller jar is 11 inches (28 cm) tall and 4 inches (10 cm) wide. The tall jar is in excellent condition - even the lid is present and is without chips, cracks etc (most of these rare jars, when available, are without lids, converted to lamps, etc). The shorter jar has a couple of inner-rim chips (unseen when lid is in place)...

Beautiful and Unusual Murano Cased Light BLUE, SILVER FLECKS and White Chrysanthemum Flowers Art Glass Vase!!! Attributed to FERRO TOSO BAROVIER, circa late 1930s!!! Modern floral expression using abstract floral murrines in a field of thin copper red vines and green opal leaves. This abstract imagery floats on a thick case of clear glass behind which is a gather of transparent copper blue glass with a heavy coating of aventurine. The thick clear layer gives the design an interesting depth. Measuring 2.5"dia. x 4.25"h, in excellent condition, unmarked.

This attractive grouping of Murano glass vessels and lamp by Ercole Barovier should stay together and is available as a group at a reduced rate. If purchased as a group, the cost is $2300, realizing a saving of $1000 for the astute buyer.
