This lovely vase by Tapio Wirkkala, part of his Kantarelli series, measures 4 1/2" high and is 1 3/8" in diameter at the base. On the underside is etched TAPIO WIRKKALA IITTALA - 55. Excellent condition.

This is a real vintage art glass vase. It is very elegant. It was designed by Edward Hald. It was made in Sweden in 1936.

There are no chips, no cracks, and no repairs to this vase. However, there is a scratch about 1 3/4" on the side of the vase and a few others from use. It is not as clear as I would like it to be.

An Eames era ashtray, Germany, c 1960. Pale blue and clear glass overlay, with a silver lip at one end. The silver addition with German marks: stamped Von Häfen (in Hamburg) and 835. The base with inscribed mark xeix (?). Width "6 ¼/15,5 cm. Condition: barely visible nick where the silver lip has been fixed to the glass, otherwise fine.

This is a very fine example of Tapio Wirkkala's Jäkälä (Lichen) /Sormivaasi (Finger vase) series. It measures 3 7/8" (10cm) high. On the underside is etched Tapio Wirkkala Ittala. Mint condition.

The bottle flares out at the bottom. The bottom is decorated with six thumb prints that form a flower design.

There are no cracks, chips, or repairs to this item. It is in excellent condition.

Vase from the "Finlandia" series by Timo Sarpaneva for Iittala, Finland, 1965-69. Of tree trunk shape, the glass a very light green, watery shade.The irregular surface was created by the charred wooden moulds used for the Finlandia collection. Vase is a combination of opalescent glass, splattered with blocks and networks of colors in yellow, rust, greens, and pinks, cased in clear glass. There are also embedded bubbles, adventurine, and mica spangles. The vase is 6.5 inches (16.5 cm) tall and 7.75 inches (19.7 cm) in diameter. Marked on base Hadeland GroB in script. Bengt Edenfalk vase for Skruf. This squat, rounded corner vase is from the 1950's Spun series where glass threads are wound around the exterior of the piece as decoration. Edenfalk was a designer for Skruf from 1953 to 1978, then Kosta from 1978 on, pieces from the Spun series were featured in a major exhibition at Corning Museum of Glass in 1959. Pair of handblown footed compotes of clear smoky/bluish glass for Kosta by Vicke Lindstrand. Circa 1940, they both bear the engraved mark KOSTA/LH/1734 on the foot. Bowls measure 6 3/8 inches (16.2 cm) diameter and stand 6.25 inches (15.9 cm) tall. Condition is excellent with a couple of minor light surface scratches; no chips, cracks or repairs.

This large, heavy vase stands 11 inches (28cm) tall and tapers to 9.5 inches (24cm) wide at the opening. The rim of vase is gently scalloped. The clear ice-blue color of the glass is typical of Stromberg, and the vase is signed in script "strombergshyttan B99" to the base. Condition of the vase is excellent with no chips, cracks or repairs. Polished pontil. Circa 1935/36

A beautiful, large art glass bowl, made by Kosta Boda in their 'Unica' series - it was done by Lindstrand. The bowl's coloration fades from purple-to-clear. It is 11 3/4 inches (30 cm) long and 3 1/2 inches (9 cm) high. It is in fine condition (some usage scratches on bottom). Polished pontil. It is signed with acid-etching, 'Lindstrand Kosta' and is numbered, 'L.H.1001'.

Four-lobed, melon shaped decanter with sterling silver mounts at the neck and stopper. The decanter stands 10.25 inches (26 cm) tall with the stopper in place, and is 8 inches (20 cm) with the stopper removed. The neck of the bottle is sterling (not overlay), and is marked CCH DENMARK 925S 228. The flat, circular stopper is approximately 2.25 inches (5.7 cm) in diameter and 3.5 inches (8.9 cm) long including the sterling mount, which is also marked CCH 925S...

Offered is this beautiful 'Ariel' glass bottle-vase designed by Edvin Ohrstrom at Orrefors. The vase is 4 inches (10 cm) tall and 2 1/2 inches (6,3 cm) wide at the bottom. It is in excellent condition and is properly signed.

Offered is this rare Orrefors 'Ariel' glass vase designed by Edvin Ohrstrom - the vase has a 'Stress Line' running through it. Via the 'Ariel' technique, Ohrstrom decorated the vase with the 'peace motif' (dove, flowers, etc). The very heavy vase is 6 1/2 inches (16,5 cm) wide and 4 1/2 inches (11,5 cm) high. Properly signed on its polished pontil. Because of the stable stress line (see pictures), this rare vase is offered at a low price .

This is the largest size Thule vase made by Holmgaard. The vase, made in smoke grey glass, is 9 1/4 inches (23.2 cm) in diameter, and stands 6 1/2 inches (16.5 cm) tall at the highest point. It tapers to 3 1/8 inches (7.9 cm) at the base. It is in excellent, near mint condition, with no discernable scratches (except for those expected on the base), and no chips cracks or repairs. Beautiful slip graal bowl in maroon and clear glass, circa 1954. Intriguing floral or snowflake design at botton of bowl is the focus from which all the 'arms' of the spiral emanate, really lovely. The piece is engraved "Orrefors S Graal Nr. 1970L Edward Hald" The dimensions of the bowl are: Height 2 1/2" (6.4cm) Width 4 3/4" (12cm) The condition of the bowl is excellent, no chips, cracks or repairs.
