Rare, early Eva Englund vase from her days at Pukeberg prior to joining Orrefors. The piece dates from 1966, is very large and in exceptional condition. The series of these vases was called Eldlek ("Fireplay"). Bengt Edenfalk vase for Skruf. This squat, rounded corner vase is from the 1950's Spun series where glass threads are wound around the exterior of the piece as decoration. Edenfalk was a designer for Skruf from 1953 to 1978, then Kosta from 1978 on, pieces from the Spun series were featured in a major exhibition at Corning Museum of Glass in 1959. Elegantly line engraved vase by Tapio Wirkkala, from the Kantarelli series he made for Iittala glassworks in 1951. Kantarelli is the Finnish word for the delicious yellow mushroom, the chanterelle. Signed Tapio Wirkkala Iittala. Height "6 ¾ / 17 cm. Condition: fine.
