This is a really nice Cobalt Blue Moderntone 10 1/2 inch Sandwich Plate made by Hazel Atlas Glass from 1934 to mid-1950s. This Plate is in very good condition with no chips or cracks, however, there are a couple mold lines visible on the plain surface of the plate (common to see in the vintage, plain glass). Bubble was produced by Anchor Hocking from the 1940's through 1965. The sapphire blue color is a beautiful light blue unlike any other depression era color. Offered here is the 7 1/2 inch flat soup bowl in perfect condition. See my other listings for more in this pattern.

Vase stands 10 inches (25.4 cm) tall, and has a "double ruffled" rim. Made by Fenton 1947 to 1952 as model number 189. Unmarked, probably had paper label (Fenton glass was not marked "in mold" until 1953). A fascinating optical effect is caused by the clear glass "dots" that lends interest to this style vase. There is a small burst bubble in the clear casing glass in the lowest row of "dots" that occurred during manufacture. No chips, cracks or repairs. Circa 1950.
