18114500-4505 A crystal and black Libbey-Nash goblet with cat stem. The Silhouette series glass is illustrated on page 15B of the Libbey-Nash Series 1933 catalog as shown in Fauster "Libbey Glass Since 1818" on page 330. A nearly complete set of the Silhouette series is also shown on page 245 of Fauster. The glass is signed, stands 7 inches tall, has a fire polished rim and is perfect. 4 hand enameled cocktail glasses featuring colorful roosters. Unlike most rooster glasses, these do not depict a cock fight--so none of the glasses has a dead chicken on it!

The glasses have gilding along the rims and around the feet. Very colorful!

Origin: American, ca. 1930's. Condition: excellent condition, except the gilding has a bit of wear and one glass has a tiny nick at the edge of the foot. Size: 3-5/8" tall.

Consolidated Glass Company produced the Catalonian line in 1927. It was made to look like glass found in Catalonia Spain at the archaeological sites, and had bubbles and raised rings blown into the glass. This is the 1154 sweet pea vase - part of the Spanish Knobs variation - in emerald green. The vase is approximately 4 1/2 inches high and in perfect condition. I have other items in this pattern available, just ask.

McKee Crystal Rock Flower 12" Bowl in crystal was made between 1922-31. This bowl is about 2.75" high, in excellent condition.

This rare Morgantown Genova Two-Tone tumbler is a beautiful deep cobalt Nanking Blue and golden topaz. The flared bowl is blown panel optic attached to the blown bell foot. A signed Libbey silhouette series cat goblet. The stem is a “moonstone” (opalescent) figure of a cat. The wine glass is 7 inches tall and 3 inches in diameter. The Silhouette series by Libbey-Nash was produced in 1933 and consisted of 13 different animals. Each type of item (goblet, wine, sherry, compote, etc) used a different animal as a stem.
