This is a massive Yves Saint Laurent galalith bead necklace withgold and enameled deep red metal spacers. It is 21" (54.2cm) long including the chain & hook (but not including the YSL metal tag). The center bead is 1" (2.9cm) in diameter. The outer beads are 7/8" (2.7cm) in diameter. They are strung on a fine gold chain. Each of the enameled spacers is a hair over 1/4" (.6cm) wide. This six-sided bangle is a truly rare Georg Jensen piece and undoubtedly has gone out of production. It was bought in 1968 and has not been worn very much. This is a design done more than 50 years ago and a long-time GJ dealer in New York says he cannot remember ever having seen the piece. Inside one of the six sides of the bangle is the Georg Jensen mark in a circle of dots, 925S Denmark, and the number 177. The internal diameter is 7cm (2.75in).
