Pair of elegant cut crystal bud vases with sterling silver footrims. The vases are cut with a simple starburt pattern near the upper rims. Marked "Wallace Sterling R-62".

Cactus sterling silver dinner set. Made by Georg Jensen in Copenhagen. This set comprises 84 pieces (dimensions in inches):

Forks: 12 dinner forks (7 3/4), 12 luncheon forks (6 1/2), and 12 seafood forks (6 1/4);

Spoons: 12 dessert spoons (6 3/4) and 12 teaspoons (6);

Knives: 12 dinner knives (9) and 12 butter spreaders (6 1/8).

Dinner knife blades are stainless steel.

For a special dinner party. Cactus was designed by Gundorph Albertus (1887-1970) and first produced in 1930.

This powerful, well rendered and heavy work stands appx. 19" tall.

A traditional form enlivened by the figure of an octopus squatting in the center, its curled and tangled legs draped over the bowls. A vintage Georg Jensen hammered Sterling Silver ladle, designed by Jensen himself in 1916. Marked Georg Jensen in a dotted oval Sterling and Denmark.

Measures about 7 1/2" long, and 2 7/8" across the bowl. Weighs 81 Gr.

Fine condition, lightly hammered. Has a little tarnish and minor surface scratches.

Great hand wrought example.

Sterling silver gravy ladle in Kirk's 1937 "Rose" pattern. Fully decorated with a repousse floral design in the great Baltimore silver tradition, this piece would look lovely mixed with similar patterns such as Kirk "Repousse", Stieff "Rose", Schofield "Baltimore Rose", etc. The reverse is marked with Kirk's mark from the period 1927-1961. Excellent condition; no monogram or removal. 7-1/8" long.
