Large sterling silver berry spoon in Kirk's wonderful "Repousse" pattern. Certainly the most famous of all silver patterns to emerge from Baltimore, "Repousse" is filled with flowers such as roses, daisies and forget-me-nots. The bowl of the spoon is decorated with mixed fruit including strawberries, apples, grapes and raspberries. The back is marked "S. Kirk & Son Sterling", the mark used between 1927 and 1961.

Handsome hand hammered copper and brass water or beverage pitcher designed and signed circa 1940's by Taxco, Mexico artist Hector Aguilar (1905-86). Pitcher measures 7" tall, 6" from spout to handle. Set of 4 sterling silver figures of Bacchus. Made by Buccellati in Italy. A young Bacchus prances and gambols. One figure holds a grapevine. Another holds a large ivy leaf. The other two manipulate drapery. The infant deity, in all his manifestations, is buck naked apart from the artfully posed waistbands. Soft bottoms and stubby legs are on view. An attractive decoration for the wine cellar.

Early 1950's silver plate and enamel bowl, designed by Henning Koppel. This model was produced in more than one color and size and by more than one Danish silverware producer, the foremost being Georg Jensen. This bowl is marked (illegible)…dröste and Denmark. Diameter "4 ½ / 11.2 cm and height "2 ¼ / 6 cm. Condition: some wear to the silvered surface as expected (cf. pics).
A very scarce Watson and Newell demitasse spoon of an African American child eating watermelon. The spoon has “Shreveport, LA” engraved in the bowl. The back is marked “Sterling” and has the Watson & Newell logo. The spoon is shown as item 562-4 on the Watson and Newell 1900-1910 catalog page illustrating “Souvenirs for the South.”
