Art nouveau sterling teaspoon with four cherubs faces by the famous Newark, NJ silversmith, Unger Brothers, 1904. This is a beautiful ladle measuring 12 3/4" in length. The bowl is in the shape of a large shell, and there is a lion engraved on the handle. There are four marks on the back of the handle which I tried to photograph. The first long one I can't make out, the second is the head of a lion with a crown on his head, the third is a full lion, and the last has initials which I believe to be HB. I believe the ladle to be Georgian.

Pair of nautilus-shaped silver and ebony handmade ashtrays by William Spratling, Mexico, c.1940. More a work of art than anything, this lush silver design sits on a silver base which then sits on a rectangular ebony base. This wonderfully inventive Art Deco silverplate jigger measures 3/4, 1, 1-1/2 and 2 ounces. The cube joining the various cups shows measurements on one side and is stamped with the hallmark for Benedict Manufacturing Company (1894-1953) on the other. The cube is perfectly weighted so the jigger does not tip over when the upper cup is filled. This implement was created by the noted modernist designer Albert F. Cast iron boot scrape in the form of a Scottie in its original blue paint. The two long spikes that hold the boot scrape in the ground are marked "Copyrighted 1927 By Household Patent Co. Morristown, PA." The company made a variety of metal products such as weather vanes and boot scrapes. This wonderful pair of sterling silver triple candle holder was made in Germany circa 1920. The elegant fluted design decorated candle holders are 10 ¼” high, 11” wide at the widest part and the base is 5 3/8” wide at the widest part. An interesting silver case with enameled hunter shooting at ducks. No marks. The opening measures 2-3/16" round and the piece is 3-1/2" (h) x 4-1/2"(w) x 1" Two holes for screws are on the back. There is a small dab of solder on the top inside. This appears to be silverplate and would benefit from a cleaning.

Delightful sterling silver ostrich sculpture from Taxco, Mexico. Designed and produced in the early 1950's, it is fully hallmarked. The intricately detailed head, neck, feathers, legs and feet are attached to the body which is a hard stone egg. In excellent condition, this rare find stands tall measuring 5" high by 5.75" head to tail.

This spoon is 5 5/8" long. The name engraved on the handle is Findley. The name in the bowl is Columbus O This spoon was made by Towle Silversmiths.
