Handwrought bowl featuring three incised silver tabs with bezel set amethyst cabochons. Dimensions: 10 inches diameter by 1 3/4 inches tall, the 3 amethyst tabs are 2 7/8 inches wide by 1 1/2 inches deep. Marked as illustrated in photo. In excellent condition, great weight 19 oz.

This is an absolutely stunning sterling silver cigarette case which has been elaborately decorated with engraved raised floral motif on the front and back panel, with presentation mark engraved on the front panel. A modernist pair of Sterling Silver salt and pepper shakers by Rancho Alegre. Main portion is in a brushed texture contrasting with the bottom disks which are shiny and smooth. This hand hammered sterling silver bowl was designed & signed c. 1940's by Taxco Mexico artist William Spratling. The interior of the bowl measures 6 1/2" across & 2 1/2 inches deep. Bowl weight is 652 grams or 23 oz. Each of the 3 handles are accented with 2 raised silver domes. Beautiful condition. Excellent accent piece for any room.
