They are both hallmarked for Birmingham, England 1924, and they have the maker's mark for A.& J. Zimmerman Limited (1902-). This large footed serving tray by Sheridan Silver Plate is 15 3/4" square. It has scroll work and floral designs on the edges, feet, and center. No Monograms! It is hallmarked Sheridan Silver on the bottom. There are no dents, dings! There have been no repairs to this item. This item is in excellent condition. Elegant sterling silver basket of sterling silver, pierced to reveal a cobalt blue glass liner. The neo-Gothic style piercing is accented with a tiny band of beading just below. The basket is raised on a foot. The swing handle is unadorned. The bottom is hallmarked by Redlich.

A lovely set of mid-century enameled sterling silver coffee spoons by Henry Clifford Davis. Davis focused mostly on smaller objects, often enhanced with enamel. The spoons have unusual melon-ribbed bowls and elegant translucent guilloche enamel handles with an engraved Greek key-type design. Each is fully stamped with Davis' hallmarks and the date letter for 1950...

A classic figural sterling silver thimble jigger, the rim ornately engraved “Only A Thimble Full.” The workmanship is very good and the engraving among the nicest we’ve seen. Marked only “Sterling,” it was likely made by either Thomae or Webster.

A classic figural sterling silver thimble jigger by Thomae & Co. The rim is engraved “Only A Thimble Full.” The interior retains a softly gilt surface. Several companies made variations of thimble jiggers, but those by Thomae are among the best because of their superior weight and workmanship.

A set of six sterling silver coffee spoons by Asprey & Co. Each spoon has a brownish-black bakelite “coffee bean”—a decorative device popular in England during the Art Deco period. Each spoon is fully hallmarked for Asprey, 1931. The spoons are presented in their original silk- and velvet-lined fitted box, the lid of which is imprinted “Asprey/166 Bond St/London”.

Very well crafted continental sterling silver Vesta Case, decorated with sporting theme,golfing. Size; Height of case is 2 inches, no condition concerns.

A fine vintage Art Deco style 6-3/4" step sided .800 silver wine slide or coaster. This item was used to slide bottles of wine along the table (most had wood bottoms with felt or fabric). This one is stamped A800 with an A (bee or figure) C maker's mark. This mark was used in Belgium on silver articles after 1942, we have been unable to identify the maker as yet...

Tiffany & Co. sterling silver baby cup, c.1940's. It measures 3 1/4" high and is lightly embossed "Brooke" and "Uncle Tom". It is signed "TIFFANY & CO. STERLING 2451". Very good condition except for a few slightly rounded dents.......$10 for insured shipping.

Gilded sterling silver and blue enamel sauce ladle by David Andersen, the noted Norwegian silversmith and designer. Stamped on the reverse of the twisted handle '925' and with the mark used by David Andersen from 1924-1939. Size: 5.75 inches length. Condition: excellent, with no damage.

Patinated bronze vase by Danish designer Just Andersen (1884-1943). Simple and beautiful Déco design, the shape reminding of the petals of an opening flower. Small engraving to one side of the foot-rim. Marks: GAB (a Swedish company for which Just Andersen worked from c 1930), "brons" and model number 212. Height "5½/ 14 cm. Condition: some wear (scratch marks) as seen on pictures.

A mesh silver purse, c 1920-30, exquisitely worked, the brackets with roses and flower baskets. Marked Diana (design or model), German silver marks: 800, crown and moon. Width "6 ¼ / 16 cm, weight 274 grams. Condition: a very small repair near the left hinge (cf. last photo).
