A silver spoon, the shape of traditional Russian type with a long handle and egg-shaped gilt bowl, the modernist pattern pointing towards the 1960’s. Russian (Soviet era) hallmark 875 with star and Cyrillic B plus another mark with the letters B and Yu. Weight 38 grams, length "6½/ 16,5 cm. Condition: a few scratch marks to the bowl.

A Sterling Silver Hand Wrought Arts and Crafts Square Shaped Bowl or Dish, by Arthur Stone of Gardner, Massachusetts. The craftsman was either David Carlson (1909-1919) or Magnus Carlberg (1922-1932). Dimensions; 4.5" x 4.5" x 1.25" high, weight 5.5 Troy ounces. Excellent condition. There is a monogram "JBR" on the underside and the date Jan.15, 1944, presumably given as a gift at that later time.

A beautiful set of six sterling pastry or cake forks designed by Bernard Cuzner for Liberty & Co. in 1923. A classic figural sterling silver thimble jigger, the rim ornately engraved “Only A Thimble Full.” The workmanship is very good and the engraving among the nicest we’ve seen. Marked only “Sterling,” it was likely made by either Thomae or Webster.

A vintage mid century modernist set of 2 salt dishes and 2 spoons by William Spratling in sterling silver and rosewood. These were in the Montgomery Ward 1943 Christmas Book and each sold for $4.75 including the spoon. From Spratling's 1st design period.

The salts measures 1 3/8" square and 1" high. Marked with Spratling Made in Mexico around the conjoined 'WS', and Sterling. These were the marks used between 1931-46...

WMF Ikora patinated metal dish or bowl, Germany c 1930. The surface iridescent in yellow-green and black, in the center a stylized ribbon or flower or an abstract Art Déco motif. Small paper label to the back D11 and the impressed Ikora and WMF factory mark for the German Württembergische Metallwarenfabrik. Diameter "10 / 25 cm. Condition: a wire for hanging fixed by soldering.

Being offered is a circa 1936 sterling silver salad set by William Spratling of Taxco, Mexico. Handwrought silver salad fork and spoon attached to carved wood handles. These bear the early 'Taxco Mexico' mark that was used between 1933-1940. Dimensions: 12 inches long by 2 inches wide. No monogram. Marked as illustrated in photo. In excellent condition. An early, rare find.

A vintage sterling silver vermouth dispenser in the form of a syringe by Gorham. These were called “Martini Spikes” when sold by Gorham in the 1960’s. The functioning plunger allows vermouth to be drawn up into the syringe and then dispensed in precisely-calibrated medical dosages into your favorite cocktail. The syringe originally cost $10 as is indicated on the original order form that accompanies this example...

The classic sterling silver Louvre bowl. Made by Georg Jensen in Copenhagen. Round and curved; Overhanding rim interspersed with scallops. Open support comprising alternating vertical leaves and tendrils. Raised foot. Visible hand hammering. Designed ca 1910, it reflects the master’s love of nature. So-called the Louvre bowl because an example in that museum’s collection. Fully marked including maker’s stamp (1945-77) and no. 19A. Very good condition.

A Set of Gorham Sterling Silver Openwork Candlesticks with Etched Glass Hurricane Shades. Dimensions 5" for the candlesticks and 10.5" including the shades. They are in excellent condition and are from the 1930's.

Phenomenal Art Deco cocktail shaker and six matching cocktail glasses by Gorham. The gently curving surface has a quilted appearance created by deeply incised vertical and horizontal lines. The spout and handle are attached to the body with a cobweb-like decorative device. The cocktail glasses are raised on tall stems with knops decorated to match the bowls. The same decorative element is repeated where the stems meet the flaring bases. The interiors of the bowls retain the original gilding...
