Designed by Spratling c. 1950's, this martini pitcher & stirrer were hand wrought in Taxco, Mexico. The pitcher stands 5 1/2" tall & weighs 400 grams. The stirrer/spoon is 10" long. Both are in excellent condition. Both the spoon and pitcher are signed on the reverse. The pitcher is pictured on p. 258 of MEXICAN SILVER by Penny Morrill & Carole Berk. An Unusual, heavy sterling silver cigar box hallmarked Birmingham, England 1906 but presented in Las Vegas in 1959 and covered with signatures, some are well known Dallas, Texas dignitaries. These include Angus Wynne, Jr. of Six Flags, Bob Cullum from Tom Thumb Supermarkets, and Felix McKnight of the Dallas Times Herald. Also, many other signatures including Dick Clark, maybe someone will have more information of the occasion and significance...

Italian Midcentury Modern 800 silver box. Rectangular with straight sides and thumb rest. Cover flat and hinged with tab. Allover engine-turned curvilinear ornament in plain borders on sides and cover top. Box underside plain. Marked “800” and stamp (1944-68) for Florentine maker Bartolini Bartolozzi. Condition: Minor bung to upper left corner. Otherwise very good.

Italian silver gilt grand-tour bell, ca 1920. Figural handle in form of piping faun with puffed out cheeks and hoofed and hirsute hindquarters. Based on Greek statuette excavated in Pompeii and today in the National Archaeological Museum in Naples. Marked. Very good condition with nice toning.

Set of 7 Francis I sterling silver nut dishes. Made by Reed & Barton in Taunton, Mass. 1951-52. Quatrefoil well, lobed sides, and scrolled rim. Embossed fruits and leaves. Outstanding weather vane with a figure of a male golfer preparing to tee off. The vane is constructed of cast white metal with a coppery brown painted finish. The vane is attributed to be from the clubhouse of an American golf and country club built in 1935.

This wonderful pair of sterling silver triple candle holder was made in Germany circa 1920. The elegant fluted design decorated candle holders are 10 ¼” high, 11” wide at the widest part and the base is 5 3/8” wide at the widest part. The hallmarks are the crown and half moon, 925 STERLING, and a bear. The candle holders are hollow (not filled with cement) in the bottom there are some weights for stability, but those can be removed by unscrewing the bottom cover...

A Large and Heavy Paul Revere (Sons of Liberty) Bowl by Crichton Brothers of London through their New York Affiliate. The Bowl is 10" in diameter and 5" high and 5.25" at the base and weighs 29.1 Troy ounces. There is a monogram on the side "CAV FBV 1910-1035", presumably given as a 25th Anniversary gift that year. It is in excellent condition. Note that the original is in the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston.

Set of 12 sterling large teaspoons in Douvaine pattern by Unger Brothers, Newark, c.1903. Beautiful figural pattern showing north wind and dolphin head amidst classic art nouveau flowing design with very clear definition on each. Spoons measures 5 13/16" long and the bowl is 2 1/16" long by 1 1/4" wide. Each spoon is marked "UB STERLING 925 FINE". There is a fairly light monogram "L"(?) on each spoon that could probably be removed...

A large sterling silver bowl from Atelier Borgila, Erik Fleming in Stockholm, Sweden. This was a 1941 Presentation Gift from General Motors Imports, inscription on bottom as shown. Measures about 5 1/2" tall, 7 1/2" across and weighs about 737 grams. Has decorative engraving on one side and a gold wash in the interior. Very good condition, does show a little wear and light scratches. In its original presentation box. Fine example of Scandinavian design from this workshop.

Sterling silver creamer and sugar made by Sanborns Silver in the 1950s. Both pieces made in Mexico and marked "Sanborns Mexico Sterling" and "SA 925 m.m. Hecho en "Mexico D.F." Both measure 3.625" in diameter across the top. Both are 2.5" tall including the foot. Both pieces are in excellent condition. The overall weight of both is approximately one pound.

Pair of nautilus-shaped silver and ebony handmade ashtrays by William Spratling, Mexico, c.1940. More a work of art than anything, this lush silver design sits on a silver base which then sits on a rectangular ebony base. They each have a curved oval at the top of the silver opening to hold the cigarette. In excellent condition, they each measure 2" high by 2 or 2 1/4" wide(hand made and not exactly the same)...
