Beautiful figural pattern showing north wind and dolphin head amidst classic art nouveau flowing design with very clear definition on each. There is a fairly light monogram "L"(?) on each spoon that could probably be removed...

This is a beautiful ladle measuring 12 3/4" in length. The bowl is in the shape of a large shell, and there is a lion engraved on the handle. There are four marks on the back of the handle which I tried to photograph. The first long one I can't make out, the second is the head of a lion with a crown on his head, the third is a full lion, and the last has initials which I believe to be HB. I believe the ladle to be Georgian.

Hand hammered, hand made sterling and ebony very large leaf tray by Los Castillo, Mexico, c.1950. Designed like a long leaf with an ebony handle, it measures 23" LONG by 4 3/4" wide. Sterling silver creamer and sugar made by Sanborns Silver in the 1950s. Both pieces made in Mexico and marked "Sanborns Mexico Sterling" and "SA 925 m.m. Hecho en "Mexico D.F." Both measure 3.625" in diameter across the top. Both are 2.5" tall including the foot. Both pieces are in excellent condition. The overall weight of both is approximately one pound.

A fine silver tastevin inset with a 1772 silver 8 reales coin from the reign of Carlos III. The deeply-curved sides of the tastevin are decorated in a characteristically Spanish baroque style with ornate chasing and engraving. The handle is in the form of a curled dragon-like creature.

Though they were fashionable in France in the 19th century, coin tastevins only became stylish in Spain around 1950...

Lovely pair of sterling silver short candlesticks, the sockets with an engraved design and flaring outline suggestive of a tulip blossom. The design has a nice Art Deco feel and is really much more interesting than the typical short candlesticks of this type. The bottoms are marked “Sterling” but have no maker’s mark.
