A vintage mid century modernist salt spoon by William Spratling in sterling silver and ebony. From Spratling's 3rd design period.

The ebony wood and sterling salt spoon measures 3 1/4" long. Marked with the conjoined 'WS' and an eagle mark that is partially struck. It is in fine condition with some tarnish and a very minor ding.

Classic Spratling design.

Sterling silver porringer. Made by Towle in Newburyport. Crimped bowl and solid handle with pierced oval. Beaded bowl and handle rims as well as beaded volute scrolls on handle. Jazzed-up tradition. Hallmark includes no. 105 and retailer’s name Bailey, Banks & Biddle. Very good condition.

A sweet sterling silver baby ring and teething rattle. The central silver piece shows Peter Rabbit sitting in a high chair enjoying a bowl of porridge. The back side can be engraved with the baby's name. The rattle is suspended in a lucite faux mother-of-pearl teething ring. These rattles are very difficult to find with no monograms or other engraving. Peter Rabbit rattles are among the most uncommon designs by Webster. Origin: America, ca. 1930...

Interior cedar lined and partitioned Fully marked including maker’s stamp, postwar pattern no. 23367, and director’s letter L (1956-ca 1965). Very good condition.

Alvin sterling William Penn full figural souvenir spoon is 4 3/8" long. The bowl shows Philadelphia. The handle is William Penn in long coat. The mark is Alvin Biederhase Co circa 1893-1919.

Being offered is a superb circa 1945 sterling silver pitcher by William Spratling, of Taxco, Mexico; handwrought bulbous form originally, specifically designed as a sangria pitcher with three applied floral motifs on the body; flared neck; ribbon handle with ruffle decoration, but of course pitcher can be used for water, iced tea etc. Dimensions: 7 1/2 inches tall by 7 inches diameter. No monogram. Marked as illustrated in photo. In excellent condition. Weight is a hefty 38 ozs.

Midcentury Modern sterling silver and cut-glass creamer and sugar. Made by Hawkes in Corning, New York. Each: Conical bowl on flutes and diaper, and scalloped rim border. Creamer has c-scroll handle and small u-form spout. Stepped and round sterling silver base. Fully marked including silver weight (16 pwts/each). Very good condition. Sugar has minor base ping.

An extremely rare set of 12 sterling silver and enamel tea or coffee spoons from the "Cymric" line produced by Liberty & Co. in partnership with the Birmingham silversmith William Hair Haseler. The stems of the spoons have an incised trailing motif accented with translucent shaded enamels in blue and green. Only a few designers produced spoon designs for the Cymric line, and this style is typical of designs by Archibald Knox around 1910...

Sterling Silver modernist bowl by Alfredo Sciarrotta (Italian-American 1907-1985), in sleek biomorphic form on open work scrolled foot, signed on bottom. Measures 9" wide, 3 1/4" high, and 4 1/2" wide. Nice heavy quality, all hand crafted, very subtle and lovely shape to body of bowl, on lovely scrolled foot rim with S shaped sections. Sciarrotta was born in Italy, moved to the US in 1943 due to his expertise and experience with underwater technology and assistance to the US Navy...

Sterling silver bottle opener in Georg Jensen's beautiful 1930 Art Deco "Cactus" pattern. The handle is marked "Georg Jensen" in a dotted oval and "Sterling Denmark"; the opener is marked "Georg Jensen Denmark".

Being offered are a pair of circa 1963 .970 silver (better than sterling) candlesticks by Antonio Pineda of Taxco, Mexico. Candlesticks in an impressive multi paneled geometric design. Dimensions 2 1/2" high x 3" diameter. Marked. In excellent condition. Great Pineda gauge of silver!

Circa 1950-60, very heavy sterling silver hinged or jointed fish bottle opener with abalone (mother of pearl) and black onyx eyes. Made in Mexico, it is fully hallmarked including 925 on the back side of the tail. Excellent condition, it measures 7.25" long and weights 5.48 oz.

Sterling silver lemon fork in Gorham's 1951 "Rondo" pattern. The back is stamped with Gorham's hallmark and the pattern name.
